The Site Google Killed Is Earning $920 a Month on Bing: A Publisher Publishes His Bing-Only Pay-Per-Call Numbers

211 inbound calls, 37 converted and $920 in July 2026 from a single gutters website that lost its Google traffic entirely. Publisher Mohsin Momin published the traffic data, the site architecture and the one thing that kills a Bing build.

When a local service website loses its Google rankings, most publishers write it off. Mohsin Momin, an affiliate publisher with Lead Smart Inc, published July 2026 data showing what happened when he did not: a gutters-niche site that is, in his words, “almost or fully died on Google” produced 211 inbound phone calls, 37 converted leads and $920.01 in a single month — entirely from Bing organic search.

The numbers, and what they imply

StageCountWhat it means
Bing clicks331From 10,300 impressions, 3.23% CTR, July 2026
Inbound calls21164% of Bing clicks placed a phone call
Completed calls16980% of inbound calls reached the business
Converted leads3722% of completed calls became a billable lead
Highest per-lead payout$50Installation and replacement keywords paid the most
Revenue$920July 2026, one website, one vertical

Those figures imply the unit economics without interpretation: 80% of inbound calls reached the business, 22% of those completed calls converted, each inbound call was worth $4.36 on average, and each converted lead was worth $24.87. Roughly one call in six paid. The site carried no advertising spend; every call came from an organic search result.

The revenue per converted lead sits close to the going rate in the vertical. Lead Smart’s public payout coverage puts the median gutters payout at $32.50 per call, with installation and replacement intent at the top of the range — which is exactly where this publisher aimed.

The traffic split that makes the point

Search-console data for the same month shows how lopsided the two indexes had become for this site. Bing delivered 331 clicks from 10,300 impressions, a 3.23% click-through rate. Google delivered 7 clicks from 6,900 impressions in the same 31 days, an average position of 67 — a page-seven existence. Across the trailing twelve months Google served 131,000 impressions and returned 37 clicks in total.

The conversion of that traffic is the striking part: 331 Bing clicks produced 211 phone calls. Roughly two in three visitors from Bing picked up the phone, which is what buyer-intent local service traffic looks like when the page answers the query and loads fast.

The build

NicheGutters
DomainFresh registration, 2025 — not expired, not deleted
Domain typePartial match domain
Traffic sourceBing organic only; Google traffic effectively gone
ArchitectureOne page per US city, state hub pages, no standalone service pages
Build methodCustom nationwide script generated with ChatGPT and Claude Code

The architecture is the interesting part. Rather than building service pages and city pages separately, he built a single page per city and targeted the services inside it, then linked every city from its state page and cross-linked cities within the same state. One nationwide script, generated with AI coding tools, produced the whole structure across every US state and city.

I created a custom nationwide script with pages for all states and cities of the USA. I have a single page for each city and no separate page for any service — I target the service or services on the city page. I interlinked all cities from their respective state pages and internally linked them with each other under the same state. Mohsin Momin, affiliate publisher

Two conditions the publisher says decide the outcome

Patience with indexing. Bing indexes more slowly than Google. He reports days to weeks before a new site begins to be crawled at all, and says results only start once indexing does — the period before that is not evidence the build has failed.

Page speed. His blunt version: a slow site will not give you a call even when it earns the click. In pay-per-call the revenue event is the phone call, so every second between the search result and the dial is where the money leaks. He recommends paying for good hosting up front.

Bing indexing is not faster than Google, so you have to keep patience — it will take some days or a few weeks to start indexing your website. Once it starts, you will start seeing the result. But keep your site loading fast, because a site with low page speed will not even give you a call, even with clicks. Mohsin Momin, affiliate publisher

Why the non-Google index is worth building for

Bing carries a smaller share of US search than Google, and that is precisely the arbitrage. Local service results on Bing are less contested, algorithm updates hit differently, and a site penalised or de-ranked on one index frequently holds position on the other. For a pay-per-call publisher, whose revenue depends on a phone call rather than an ad impression, a smaller audience that still dials is worth more than a larger audience that does not. A single-index strategy is also a single point of failure — this site is the demonstration in both directions.

Results are not typical, and we will not pretend otherwise

This is one publisher’s self-reported result from one website in one vertical for one month. It is not a projection, a guarantee or an average. Sites take months of work before the first call arrives, many never rank at all, and revenue varies enormously with vertical payout, market competition and search-engine volatility — as the loss of this site’s Google traffic demonstrates. We publish specific numbers with their conditions attached rather than averages that describe nobody.

What a call is worth before you build

Whether a build like this clears $9 a day or $900 depends mostly on payout per call, which is why Lead Smart publishes its payout coverage openly. Its affiliate bid tool lists minimum expected payouts across 417,983 ZIP-code and service combinations in 27 live verticals, refreshed daily, so a publisher can price a market before registering a domain. The all-vertical median payout is $32.50, the 90th percentile is $177.00, and net payouts in the highest-value categories reach $497.50 for a single water-damage call.

The method is published free as well: Lead Smart founder Matthew Zivkovic writes 17 full pay-per-call courses available at no cost, including Local SEO (Websites That Rank), Rank and Rent and Analytics and Optimization. Two further published builds document adjacent stages of the same process: domain registration to first converting call in ten days and twenty days of rank-and-rent call data, including the bad days.
