2023-12-01 Having a wrap around porch built on the house. Ressabuilt sent an awesome crew handled by a top notch and attentive manager. During the framing of the porch, the framing crew was building a pavilion portion of the porch and found it was out by 1/2″ or less and on their own, tore it apart and rebuilt it not once but twice in order to get it right! In my experience, most other crews would have continued on and left the error in place. Super happy with the work, attention to detail and willingness to to accommodate some of my ideas and materials into the build. Management of the build has been quite painless and is available by phone, text or email and his response to my queries are quick. I would highly recommend this contractor… but only after they finish our porch! 🙂

We are in the middle of a big renovation on our home and our experience with RessaBuilt has been wonderful. From our first meeting, they laid out their plan (thank you Joe), helped with timely ordering of the all the selections (thank you Amy), and now we are nearing the completion of our project (thank you Dan). Renovations are stressful, but RessaBuilt does what they can make it as smooth as possible.

We used Ressa to renovate our 1923 duplex and it was the best decision! We marvel at the results daily. We love our new space!! Ressa patiently stood by us through a multi-year zoning/permitting process, added on an accessory dwelling 2br unit to the scope of work in the interim, and navigated a 9 month COVID renovation seamlessly. Communication, craftsmanship, follow-through, dedication are all to be lauded. This was our first major renovation, so key learnings: – identify and evaluate sub-contractors – the ones used on out job were mostly good, and Ressa navigates is smoothly, but it is worth understanding in advance; – be clear about what you want, changes that seem small impact pricing/cost/time and could be avoided. if I was clear, for example, that I didn’t want ceiling white paint anywhere the painting would have been a lot smoother; -temper expectations, nothing is perfect, things are lost in translation, sometimes the macro accomplishments get lost because of the micro bumps along the road; and -your project manager matters. We worked with Lucho and he was beyond professional, helpful, exacting, focused on the details, and truly treated our project – and its unique choices – as if they were his own. He took the time to understand our design and vision and then expertly executed it. Highly recommend Ressa and would use them again.

Ressa did a major renovation of our home – kitchen, living room, three bathrooms, mudroom, and a bedroom. Their communication was excellent and the quality of the work was top notch. They came recommended by my architect and collaborated well with her. We love our space so much and six years later, it still looks beautiful. Highly recommend and so much so that I had Ressa do my parent’s kitchen two years later. The work had to be complete within 5 weeks exactly and they were done exactly on time.
