We hired Val this Fall to install a second shower and finish our laundry room. Val and his crew went above and beyond and completely exceeded our expectations. In just 2 weeks, our little half bathroom was transformed into what I wish was our master bathroom and our laundry room is a place that makes laundry somewhat enjoyable! 🙂 Val thought out every little detail and design and he always made sure we were happy with his ideas before proceeding. His crew is extremely polite and hardworking. Again, we could not be more pleased with the end result from Quality Construction and are looking forward to hiring them again in the future!

Throughout the course of construction, Val and his team displayed a high level of professionalism, experience, dedication and commitment to quality. Val Krynski has been cultivating a teamwork oriented atmosphere and worked well with the clients, designers and subcontractors to find solutions to problems and overcome numerous challenges during the course of construction.

I’ve been using Val Krynski and his guys for years. I first used him for a $250,000+ renovation project on one of my properties. Since then I’ve used him on two other homes for projects big and small. It’s always been a simple call or text and he is usually over within 24 hours to come discuss and view the project. He has also helped me in emergency situations, I’ve called him for a burst pipe and his guys were there promptly to access and fix the situation.

We have used Val Krynski Quality Construction for multiple projects in our home; tile work in our basement, gutting and redoing two bathrooms, and most recently, taking out a bedroom to make a larger living/family room area to create a space for our grand piano. Our experiences have always been positive. Val always took the time to meet with us at the onset to find out what our vision was and together we came up with a plan. On this last project he shared some ideas that completely transformed the space; his ideas were much better than ours and we are very happy that we followed his advice. Val’s crews are true craftsmen who know their trade. They were courteous and professional and cleaned up after themselves each day. Val checked in with us to monitor our progress each day and worked with us to find a solution when we came upon an unexpected obstacle with our wood floors. We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of these projects and will definitely call Val for our next project.

My sister and parent’s highly referred Val/Quality Construction. He did my parents kitchen and bathroom years ago and my sisters basement recently. I wanted to get a few quotes and do my research. I ended up choosing Quality Construction because of the referrals, but also he took the time to come over and explain in detail the work, and the quote. I had one company email me back without coming over, and without walking into my house told me it would 25-30 thousand dollars! Quality Construction’s quote was not only extremely lower, but my wife and I are extremely happy and satisfied with the results. Below are the photos of my house and my sisters house. Val was quick to respond to questions via phone or text, and even took the time to come over at night when I got home from work to show me in person as the basement progressed. The first photos are from my home, and the second (with blue) my sister’s. We chose to do the painting ourselves, but have not gotten to that yet! I will use Quality Construction on future projects and will also refer them to my friends when they need work done!

Val remodeled our two (2) bathrooms at our home. From the onset of meeting with us to determine what we wanted to the final stage of completion, Val always made sure the project was going as planned and to our satisfaction. His crew were very hard workers, who, you can tell take pride in what they do. They were very courteous, cleaned-up after themselves and when you asked them to make a change or address something that we had reservations about, they did so without an objection. The work was done in a timely manner and we stayed within our budget even when we made changes during the remodel (slight changes). We were very pleased with the outcome of our bathrooms. Val brought our 1980’s vintage bathrooms into the 21ST century. Val has very good work ethics and he really works hard to make the customer happy. While he was doing the remodel at our house, my neighbor Joe came by to see the progress and he actually hired Val to do work at his house. Since Val completed our bathrooms, we had him do some work in one of our bedrooms (created a walk-in closet) and I had him do some tile work in the entranceway of our office as well as replace toilets in the two (2) bathrooms in our office. No job is too big or too small for Val

We recently had to have our kitchen sink replaced. It was a solid surface sink, so they had to cut it out and install the new one. The gentlemen did a great job, it looks like it was always there. I’ve also worked with Val a lot in the past, and he has earned my repeat business. The work includes finishing a 1500 sq ft basement in a relatively short amount of time, complete remodel of our master bath including moving a wall back, and remediation of a burst pipe on short notice. I won’t hesitate to call Val when we need our kitchen remodeled!

My family was referred to Val by The Tile Shop in Countryside IL to set subway tile in our shower. We already purchased the tile and all supplies that were need to tile the shower but we required 10 more bull nose tile pieces for the boarder of the shower. Val then ordered the tile from the tile shop and installed it. After Val’s employees set the tile and completed the job we noticed that 10 of the tile pieces were the wrong color. These 10 pieces were the ones that Val bought. We contacted Val about this and he said that he would correct the issue. The next day Val was supposed to come out but he never showed up. We called him and he said that we would have to remove tile incorrect tile from the wall ourselves and bring it to the tile store and get new pieces and also install them our selves. He then said that he was done with us and would no longer fix the problem. He made excuse after excuse and shifted the blame on us as he claimed that we should have noticed the issue sooner(before the job was complete). The tile we bought was a white marble matt finish and the tile he bought was the same style but in a cream color. He claimed that the SKU numbers for the two different tile colors were the same. We called the store manager and he said that this was not true and the tiles did have different SKU numbers. Val said that he couldn’t tell the difference in the two colors and so we shouldn’t have been able to either and acted like we were making too big a deal out of it then he hung up on me. Val’s employees also took materials that didn’t belong to them: such as, a 50lbs bag of white thinset that was never used and good quality tile spaces that we owned. They also used Omnigrip tile adhesive to set the tile. We later learned that this is a poor quality product and should never be used in wet areas. We also spent hours after the work was done scraping off dried tile adhesive and grout that they failed to remover from the tiles. We trusted that Val and his company would provide good quality service as he told us that he has been in business for 40 years but that isn’t what we received.His employees should have verified that the tile they bought matched the tile we had before it was installed. Now we are left with a shower that has mismatched tiles that I have to fix myself because he refuses to correct it. DO NOT EVER CONTRACT WITH VAL TO DO WORK FOR YOU OR THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL GET!!!!!!!!
