Northeast Ohio Deck Company exceeded our expectations on all levels. We met with Chris, the owner, during the cold winter months of 2022 to plan a spring build, and chose materials, colors, etc. The price was several thousand dollars less than the previous quote we received from a local landscaping company, and included completely tearing down our rotten twenty-eight-year-old wooden deck and replacing it with TimberTech composite decking instead of replacing everything EXCEPT for the underpinnings of the old deck, which the landscaping company was proposing. Our job was a relatively small one, but it was completed within a week, and is absolutely what Chris promised us it would be. We are completely satisfied. I would recommend Northeast Ohio Deck Company to anyone who is looking for a fair, honest, competent, and experienced contractor, whether it be for a tear-down or new construction. This company does quality work, and is very easy to work with. A gem!

Chris & his team at Northeast Ohio Deck Company were top-notch all the way around. If you’re looking at another contractor to design, construct, and finish your deck you’re looking in the wrong place. Chris looked at the space we had available, and drew the design in front of me in March of this year. He had everything scaled and dimensions drawn and designed. We had to get a zoning variance for the deck, and Chris accompanied me to the meeting and filled out all necessary city paperwork, which we got approved very simply. When it came time for construction, the Northeast Ohio Deck team completed our deck on time and they were very cordial, genuine, hard-working people. Chris came out a week later and did a final QA/QC check before he invoiced us, and we are very happy new TimberTech deck owners. Chris & Northeast Ohio Deck Company are the real deal – you will not be disappointed.

We recently had a rather large deck built by Northeast Ohio Decks. They were a pleasure to work with. They were prompt, courteous and paid extreme attention to every detail. We couldn’t have been happier with the final results and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful new deck. We can’t stop admiring it! LOL

We had an existing pressure-treated deck that was over 20 years old. It had been power-washed every 4 to 5 years and it showed. We wanted to replace the deck and railings with a composite. We called Northeast Ohio Deck Company and 2 other companies to come talk to us about what we could do and to get some pricing. Chris had the best ideas and a few choices of composite to pick from. He also had some great ideas for outdoor lighting being incorporated inconspicuously in the posts and steps. He was just going to do the decking and railings if the footers were still in good shape. Luckily for us they were. So in August of 2017, they tore out and removed the old decking the first day and put in the new decking, railing and steps the next day. They cleaned up everything when complete and were careful to work around our mature landscaping. Chris came by after complete to make sure we were completely happy with everything. I had noticed that one of the composite railings was installed in two pieces. Before I could even point it out to Chris, the first thing he told us was that he had ordered another railing to replace the piece-meal one… but he had to put it up for safety. The new one was installed the following day. All of our lighting has a five year warranty. This spring (April 2019), we noticed that one of our lights wasn’t working. We e-mailed Chris to have him come check it out at his convenience. Within a week, he came out and took apart the light and found that the wiring appeared to have been cut. He replaced the wiring and e-mailed to let us know that it was repaired and that we were good to go. His customer service is excellent and I would highly recommend Chris and Northeast Ohio Deck Company to anyone who needs a deck and/or patio installed.

Northeast Ohio Deck Company is a go to when it comes to completing a deck project. They tore out our existing deck which was falling down and replaced it with something that exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend Chris and his crew for any upcoming deck project!!! They did an AMAZING job and I am so happy we were able to use them. The composite deck we now have is beautiful to look at and should last a very long time. Great quality and choice of materials to choose from to complete any project. Thank you!
