I went with Heritage window and Renewal by Anderson because of the positive reviews. They are considerably more expensive than the other estimates I received, but windows are so important to the value and livability of a home, I thought the investment would be worth it. I had double pane wood windows and aluminum storm windows. There was peeling lead paint that needed to be mitigated as well, so I knew there would be extra labor for that. We decided to replace the windows because the glass had become etched and the lead paint was a hazard when we wanted to open the windows. It was a priority that the new windows be as quiet as the existing windows, which we were told repeatedly the triple pane would be better at sound dampening. So we paid extra for those in the primary bedroom as we live on a busy street. The triple pane windows are a complete rip off. Not only do they block significantly less sound than the previous window configuration, the sound of the cars and trucks passing by is higher pitched and echoey. I have emailed and discussed this with multiple people at Heritage Window, and the response has been that their supplier doesn’t do storm windows, and that there is really no other solution. We are going to move our primary bedroom because the sound is now too loud to sleep in that room. We are fortunate that we can do that… we can’t really afford to replace the windows again or pay another company to add storm windows. Due to the expense, we were only able to do half our windows. We paid roughly $2500 average per window for replacement, which is about 50% higher than the next highest bid. Make sure to research what your priorities are and cast a wide net when you get estimates. Don’t get triple pane windows, they’re definitely not quieter than double pane and there is very little additional energy efficiency compared to cost. Once the window is installed, you’re on your own despite what you’re told during the sales pitch.

Our new Anderson windows look fantastic and a product with great quality. But what we really found outstanding is the quality of their installers! Scotty, Logan and Jack are such a huge asset to this company. With the work ethic today these guys stand head and shoulders above others in todays young workforce! They were polite, kind, friendly, knowledgeable, dependable, prompt, and always asking if we were satisfied. We sure are, we would recommend them to anyone who would like high quality, affordable Windows installed by true high quality professionals!! Thank you! From sales to installation 5 star service- amazing quality and craftsmanship. Andy & Chris did a clean quick job and you couldn’t tell they had been saws-all(ing) and tearing out old windows. They hung the shades up nicer than they had previously been hung ! We are thrilled with Heritage Window and Door!!!

Had both doors installed in nov 2019. Had windows done last summer by this company too. Good job with windows as well. Doors- One in back of garage and one in front. Great job. Professional guys. Nice. Will recommend and have done so. And will be using them again for other window and doors project. Shout out to Matt, Stacy,Justin- Thx guys!👍

The whole process with Heritage was easy; from working with Zach on ordering to the excellent installation by Dusty and Rustee. Specifically, I want to comment on the professionalism of the installers, who spent two full days in my house. The graciously worked around things, were not bothered by little’s running around, and got the instillation done. My windows and the replaced trim/sill look beautiful and I am very grateful.

We purchased a new patio door from Heritage which was installed by their two person team Josh and John. They are skilled carpenters who left us completely satisfied with the final product… and they were great to work with. Good job!
