Andersen Windows has it up side; they make the employees clean the production floors(some/new young hires are lazy and will try anything not to clean). This company will make sure to show all the best they have to make sure they hired new workers, which is good till it is not good. Andersen down fall is they are short many workers so most days they are not meeting the required number or percentage of windows to be done in a time frame. They start all new hires out with eight points(this is half point till you are fired out of 16). They do not tell this during orientation, this very detailed information and will not say points starts during orientation(even if you clock in at 8:01am and they have seen you there five minutes before). Andersen will not let you know you got a point that now doubled to two points during the first 30 days. Andersen says you will not receive points if you need to go to the doctor Or hospital last minute with a doctor note excusing you(know certain managers will accept the note, which Andersen says would be excused and you will not get points is a lie). This company may have great pensions for 23+ year worker(started since Menomonie opened) but does not pay/not willing to pay the production worker more that 22.77 a hour(this includes production workers only, even the worker that worked 23+ yrs there). I am more than sure all office workers are paid more than 22.77 a hour. They endlessly treat the office workers and some of the production people they like or respect to treats and meals. This company has shown it is secretly racist and sexist; they will not allow hair below ears(then again most female and some male workers do not have very long hair). You will not find many colors/minority(besides the monk, Asian, Koreans, Japanese, this nationality, which all companies welcome in). Not one minority will be seen working in the office, besides a couple Monk, Asian, etc might be found working in the office and not on anything big like the caucasian workers. I would really consider thinking before applying or doing business with this company.

Bought some windows for my husbands businesses that were in desperate need of replacement! Have a friend “Sarah” who runs a line at the Menomonie location who recommended her company and I’m so impressed! Great service and quality! Glad they performed to the standards she said they would. Definitely recommend for your new build or replacement window needs!

As for April 2022 we have been on constant overtime, and will now be on overtime for the foreseeable future. And found out today that the reason we are is because they took a 2.1 million job that put us +26% over compasity for the plant. We get no compensation just “we appreciate what your doing” and wear a whacky tee shirt day to win $20. This place does not care about you it taxes your OT and bonuses and you won’t see any of your hard earned money from it until tax time. Not worth the time or the effort. I’m also pretty sure after today the plant is loosing a lot of it’s employees.
