This review is by Jim Florea, not Jane. I’ve had Coeur D’Alene wdws in my newly constructed home for 3yrs. I recently had an issue with a wdw leak in the MBR casement. I called Jim Young (territory mgr) & he immediately turned around & drove 1hr to my home!! I’ve never talked to Jim, he didn’t know who I was but he dropped everything to inspect my window. In all the decades I’ve built homes I’ve never had a response like this! Jim inspected the window, ordered parts & had a return repair date for the next week that very day. Again I’ll restate in all the years I’ve built homes I’ve never had a response like this! Jim returned that following week, on time, repaired the window & insured the other windows adjacent to the repaired one were solid. I can’t say enough about Jim Young & the service he provided, Coeur D’alene is very fortunate to have an individual that exhibits top notch professionalism, expertise & dedication to the customer & the product. Thanks to you again Jim, you’re awesome!

Absolute WORST customer service imaginable. They first had me measure the window. The service guy showed up 3 weeks later to put the new window in, he was 30 minutes late and the window doesn’t fit. Then they send another guy out, a month later to measure and get a new window, he shows up over an hour late. They then send another service guy with the new window and it doesn’t fit. He too was 20 minutes late. After the last service guy they sent me an email saying “your windows are from Cascade Window not Coeurd’Alene Window so we can’t help you.” They did refund me after I requested to be reimbursed for a window that doesn’t fit. But each time they would send someone, they were late and unapologetic about it. Almost like it’s business as usual. I asked to speak with supervisors and managers to find out why they aren’t able to manager their time better considering I have to take time off work and meet them at our home and their response was always the same. I called them in January 2024 and was told they couldn’t help me this May 2024. They are unprofessional, inexperienced with a high turnover which speaks volumes to their company. Call any other window company and they’ll tell you this place is a disaster. I’m not sure why Greenstone continues to use them when they have to deal with all the complaints from clients. I would highly recommend using another window company at all cost!

Honestly this company was one of the most frustrating parts of our house build. Over a period of 9 months we received incorrect, broken and missing pieces of our order. To this day there are too many defects to list. Our slider doors do not slide correctly, the frames are not straight, the paint is missing or coming off a lot of the windows. I’ve come to the conclusion we will probably have to take legal action to remedy this.

I am a window dealer and Coeur D’Alene has been a great company to work with, customer service from both my sales rep and the inside sales team is excellent. Deliveries and lead times have been consistent and they are very responsive and helpful with fixing any mistakes or warranty issues. Customers that purchase this product have been very happy with the quality of the windows and price.

We added the Coeur d’Alene Window line to our product line last year and are impressed with the product itself – we have the Series 6000 Premium Three Wide Multi Slide Door on display in our showroom, black on black, with blinds between the glass and a ZigZag Screen! I love showing our customers the options we have with CDA that we cannot get through other window lines – including color options, blinds between the glass and ability to meet or exceed energy efficiency standards required in our area! Not a good company to deal with. I wrote a review months ago. The owner responded and said that it was highly unlikely that I tried to reach out 5 times prior to my first review. Cindy got back to us three months ago. Today is August 25th, 2021. We had CDA windows put all the windows in our home. They installed all but one in March 2020 all were in ok condition, one is broken and one was not made. The window that they forgot to order, or lost came in and was installed in December. It was cracked. The builder called CDA windows, I called, we placed a work order on line. Three months ago they sent us an email saying they will fix it. It is now the end of August, 2021 and still nothing. I did get a response FROM THE OWNER in this review online saying they have no record of the thousands of dollars we spent. We have two windows that need to be replaced. If Coeur d” Alene windows want a good review, they need to follow up on their clients who have worked very hard for the money spent for the windows. Hopefully they help us before the end of this year. I know they are busy. One repair guy who came out to adjust some of the windows said they were back logged three months. When I told him it has been much longer than three months he said nothing, just looked dumbfounded. PLEASE FIX AND REPLACE MY WINDOWS! We have 5 service calls in to them for brand new windows that need adjusting. It’s been over 6 months and no one will get back to us.. Horrible service, actually no service! Deal with any other window company. These guys take your money and you are on your own. I’m so disappointed in this company! Yes, you should, my builder, Legacy builder put in requests right after they were installed, your delivery men came out twice and told us they would notify you. We called many times. Finally, I called and spoke with a gentleman who told me to go to your website and put in a work order. We knew of the window problem immediately after installation. Yet we were ignored. Now months have passed, the siding is on and painted. It would have been much easier to rectify this issue months ago. I’m just disgusted with your company!
