Simonton is a premium window made in the US. The Simonton rep is very responsive and does a fantastic job explaining his product lines and spoke in detail about his company which was founded in 1946.

Things degrade over time. That’s understandable. Things break, or become damaged… Also understandable. However…. when I attempted to contact for service on the “Lifetime warranty ” I was told the builder who purchased them is one owner, transient if anything but ok, then I was given a handful of random dates of transfers of my property that are not remotely accurate. I am the second owner of the windows, and rightfully due warranty coverage. Sadly the company decided unvetted information is valid enough to not uphold the warranty for the claim I filed. 10/10 Would not recommend.

Terrible windows, buyer beware!! Our builder used Simonton windows and every single window had to eventually be replaced over the years. They get a film on the inside of the glass that eventually makes it hard to see out the window and looks awful. It’s now been 16 years and finally the patio doors have started having the same problem the others did and and they say the warranty is up. We we told we had lifetime warranties and now they won’t honor it. Response time is also horrible. Took months to get a response about the warranty.

Extremely challenging warranty claim process. Their response times – especially for the West Coast – are abysmal. As a customer you only ever can call into a call center, where they are polite but impotent. Seems like they just want to run out the clock on their warranties, or else they truly do not offer the support that their salespeople indicate. Not a good experience.

Absolutely infuriating to work with. Waited 3 MONTHS with a broken window, told I needed info from something that didn’t exist, was not given straight forward information (the representative was extremely shady for lack of a better word) And was told that the warrantee I paid for (which included accidental breakage at the time of purchase) does not cover the window. Over all, rude, shady, Disgusting company. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Only after reading other reviews do I realize why no one has responded to my claim, which was only filed on October 17. I did get a claim case ID but still no other word and have sent 2 emails. I’m afraid the warranty is going to turn out to useless

The quality and durability of the windows and doors are poor. It’s basically impossible to get the warranty work actually done. They’ll just send you an incomplete box of parts and have you do the work yourself

MY GRANDMOTHER PAID 7000 DOLLARS FOR 7 WINDOWS THE FOAM INSTALLATION WAS DONE WRONG. THE HOUSE WAS FREEZING, NO CAULK DONE.TOOK 1 YEAR TO FINISH! SCREENS HAD HOLES IN THE FRAMES, DAMAGED WINDOW FRAME WITH SILICONE MATERIALS. NO ONE CARED THAT IT WAS WINTER AND SHE’S 85! SHAME ON YOU! 5 ZERO’S AS A REVIEW. NEVER CALL THEM
