These are truly the world’s worst windows. It’s laughable how terrible they are. Some of them take two people to close and lock. The wood has splintered because the lock doesn’t line up correctly. If I could leave negative stars I would. The representative had blamed our contractor for installing them incorrectly but after walking around our completely remodeled home and “addressing the issue” they still fail to work. These are the biggest waste of money and an extreme regret. Place your money in a brand with a better reputation like Pella, Marvin or Andersen.

I hope y’all know that your windows are extremely difficult to clean. All that silicone and plastic y’all use makes the window all smudgy and ugly. It’s unnecessary. They never turn out nice and clear.

I had a fantastic experience working with Sun Windows. Their customer service was exceptional from start to finish. I highly recommend them!

We LOVE our new Sun Windows! Ability to have casements that look like double hungs, multiple color options, and nicer exterior than other brands. These windows added value to our home. 5 Stars!!!!

We are new to Florida needed some large sliders looked at that was hard to open. Our neighbor suggested a company so we called and the owner came out and said he couldn’t do anything there was issues with the entire wall frame but was glad to quote our windows and front sliders to be replaced. Called Sun Windows Kyle came out and to our surprise he was able to order the part and fix the doors. WOW. We were impressed since my husband was running a business before customer service became an “exception”. Instead of the “norm” this was again “WOW”

Poor quality windows when I brought up concerns about putting scratched up metal on nearly 100 windows a contractor had paid for I was ordered to; Aaron: ” go ahead the damaged metal cant be seen from the ground.” This happened many times, after voicing my concerns I was terminated. There are workers that care about quality that work there, however there is no quality control department which explains these reviews, it all goes through one man who cuts corners when he doesn’t think anyone will notice.

It’s been almost 9 months and still no door! I knew I should of went with Anderson they had my e series’s windows within 3 months

Already had a problem with brand new windows only months old. Wind coming through seals and springs are rattling. Representative came out, ordered some parts, and never returned even six months later. Calls take weeks to get replied to if at all. Six months later and still no replacement of simple parts. Avoid this place. You’re on you own after the install.

Now that fall is here, I am reminded once again of how terrible our Sun windows are. I am searching the Internet for weather stripping to keep out smoke from burning leaves that seeps in around all of the 19 windows. This is an issue we face every fall. The windows are 12 years old now and I still get frustrated at the lack of quality and the many issues we have dealt with. I would gladly replace them but that is a huge expense. I am writing this review to warn others not to make the same mistake of buying from this window company. The problem of leaking is not the only issue with this brand. During the first five years of owning our brand new home we had to fight with the local seller and the company to get 6 foggy windows replaced as well as some of the hardware on the windows. The windows did not all fog up at the same time so our replacements have a variety of tinted glass that does not match the original set of windows put in our home when it was built. Who wants that on a new home? The customer service was worse than the windows! After fighting so long for replacements, we were told that we could buy new windows, or the best they could do was let us buy either the top or bottom section for $150 each. Of course the tinted glass would not match. Please be warned about this company. I am sorry to say they don’t make a good product and they will not stand behind what they charge good money for. I live in Kentucky and was proud to buy from a local company in my own state. Very disappointed!
