Dino and Scott installed my windows today and I was so impressed with the quality of their work. They were respectful, cheerful, neat, and careful. The windows look wonderful. In fact, I have ordered more windows and asked for this same team to install them.

Sales team ignored all my no soliciting signs, came up to the door and ignored the sign on the door that says no knocking and do not ring the bell if we do not know you. It’s clearly marked. Perhaps you all don’t realize that some people work at night and sleep during the day or have babies sleeping during nap time. This company completely disregarded all my requests and then proceeded to argue with me when I came to the door and pointed out the signs. The girl even acknowledged that she saw the signs and chose to disregard them. I called the main company number and spoke to a gentleman who decided that he should argue with me as well and said they weren’t soliciting that they were trying to write estimates. Seriously? I wouldn’t do business with this company if my life depended on it.

As an ex employee I would absolutely not recommend anyone do ANY business with these swindlers. They rob their employees and clients. I regret the leads o generated because they take your money and run. Clients that I followed up with from February who DID buy still to this day have yet to receive services as promised. They bully and mistreat the employees and then expect you to go out and perform. If you like working for or doing business with pimps, by all means, HPA are your guys.

When you’re wrong, you have to say you’re wrong. I was wrong! My wife and I purchased a home in Palm Coast which had previously had “Impact” doors and windows installed by HPA. I will say that they are beautiful and much better looking than any other replacement doors and windows you may see in the market. We were told by the seller of the home that they were lifetime guaranteed so we figured this was a huge benefit to the home. For the first few months everything was fine but then one day our sliding glass door was broken. To this day we have no idea how or why the glass broke but we needed to get it fixed. We tried contacting HPA to see how to get them replaced and this is where the trouble started. The problem was, due to the fact that the seller never contacted them to transfer the warranty to us upon sale of the home (as THEY were supposed to do) HPA had no idea who we were or why we were contacting them as we did not show up in any of their records. They said “we will look into it and get back in touch with you”. At this point we figured we were receiving lip service and probably weren’t going to get any help from HPA, “So much for a lifetime warranty”. We were not familiar with HPA but after reading a few negative reviews on google we figured they must not be a good company. So we began calling local glass companies to get the glass replaced. This became even more frustrating because the minute they looked at the door and realized what it was and that it was impact glass they all told us the same thing, “We can’t do it, try contacting HPA”. At that point we still hadn’t heard anything back from HPA so we began looking at options to have the entire door replaced which clearly would have been quite costly! Just when we were about at the end of our ropes and feeling like HPA must be a horrible company we got a call from HPA. This is when the whole story changes and goes in a totally different direction. Although it took HPA about a week to figure things out they did validate the address and previous owner. Following, they helped us do the necessary paperwork to transfer the warranty and submit a repair order for the broken door. We were contacted (same day) by the service department for pictures, measurements and information about the broken door which we provided along with a photo of the original build sticker still found in the jam of the door. That same day they put in an order for a full replacement of the door and told us it needed to be manufactured for us and it would probably take 4 to 6 weeks in total to get the door and have it replaced. Again we were worried that maybe we were just getting lip service but in exactly 4 weeks as promised we were contacted again to let us know the door was done and in shipment to them and they setup an appointment to come out and replace the unit. The service tech called us the morning of our appointment to give us an ETA and arrived on-time as promised. The door was replaced pretty quickly and with much attention to our home. The tech did a wonderful job and cleaned up after himself leaving our home looking as if no one was even here, except we had a brand new door. We could NOT be happier with the product or the service we received and we were wrong to believe the few negative comments on google. We will be a HPA customer for the foreseeable future and have no issues in recommending them to anyone looking for superior replacement doors and windows. Thank you to all the folks at HPA!!!

**Take my word for it – No matter what they say there’s a reason they have a low rating here. Terrible service and aftercare. Spent $17k for 10 windows and some random 3rd party put scratches all over my NEW floor that was finished a few months prior to window installation. Home Performance Alliance stopped responding to me shortly after that and they didn’t compensate for it. On top of that, we were new homeowners and they had people show up at our door to sell us on these windows. They also told me that I would get a veteran discount and “locked” me into a price. They asked if my house could be a “model” house for their advertising too. I am unaware if anyone else had these promises, but worth noting their little games. Not sure if they target newly bought homes/new homeowners but I wouldn’t put it past some of the scammy services these days.
