Had a horrible experience with them earlier this year. One of pieces of glass was defective and they did not realize this until it had already been installed. When i spoke to the owner about this he told me that i would not be charged for labor to replace the defective glass, but in the end they ended up charging me partially.

It started with a bath remodel and turned into a gut to the stud remodel. Windows, doors, glass, mirrors… all done by Brian and his team. Couldn’t ask for better in all categories. Price. Quality. Installation. Small Local SF business who uses Bay Area manufactures. Instrumental in better design and installation because of extensive experience. Best subcontractor on my whole renovation. Ted

Took forever on my glass. Communication was terrible. Had to call multiple times to move the quoting process along and when I gave the go ahead the lady at the counter didn’t register it. Called a week later only to find out that the order wasn’t put in. All in all from start to finish it took over a month to get my order done.

Honest and customer focused. When I inquired about my project, they told me that for my case, they wouldn’t be adding much value and referred me to their supplier, where I could buy directly and save money. Really nice to see such ethical business practices. They’ll be my first call for future projects.

Working with Golden Gate Glass was a pleasure. They responded promptly and fixed the broken pane in our door within 48 hours. It was an old door with specialty glass, and we wondered if this would be a problem. Apparently not; they were on it immediately. The fix looks great.
