We bought some 20 windows from Stanek for our recently purchased home. The salesman (Kamil) and installers were friendly and did a good job of installation. Several screens were damaged and reordered. Eventually they came and were switched out. I do have to say that it took longer to get windows from the factory than was promised, but in this case it didn’t matter because other projects around the house were happening at the same time. I have not noticed problems with the screen construction, as another reviewer commented on. Largely because it was winter and we just got them. Pam kept us up to date on timing and provided follow ups. I never had problems with anyone in management because everything was taken care of with Pam. So far, we’re very happy with the product.

My wife and I had Stanek Windows out late last year. The process was exactly as outlined by the salesman (who mind you, went above and beyond for us to ensure we could move forward with a unique situation). I’m in construction and very picky so I was quite attentive to the installation and I have to say, they did some of the best work I’ve seen. Clean work. It’s been a few months and I just referred my neighbor.

Cody was a fantastic design consultant – took his time with me to make sure I understood the products and the process. The windows are beautiful and so much more efficient than what we had. Thanks Cody!!

I would not recommend Stanek for windows. The initial sales person was great, the communication from then on terrible. Ordered windows in late April, little communication from their office. Wasn’t until we emailed our salesperson that they set up an appointment some 3 months later. The project was finally completed but very stressful.

This company is top heavy and doesn’t care about their customers. The only employees that care are the installers and the customer service rep at the local office. The Wisconsin rep, head office people, even corporate couldn’t care less about the customer. Did a kitchen remodel in 2023. Ordered three custom windows (normal size) in June 2023, were installed in November 2023. Was told windows would take 10-14 weeks, it took over 20 weeks. No communication, no update, went 3 months with wood sheets over the window opening. When windows arrived the outside of the window was scratched up (corporate didn’t care). One of the screens didn’t fit the window when they installed, wait another 6 weeks for a replacement screen. Whoever approved the “full screen flex” style should reassess everything. If your screen ever rips, you need to buy a custom screen from Stanek for $400, will probably take 10 weeks. These aren’t the old style screen that you can fix/replace by going to your local hardware store. I would avoid everyone at this company and would never recommend any of their services. Once everything was installed I asked if they were going to provide an explanation or discount for the terrible job and service, nothing. Avoid this company at all costs, so many other great companies that care about the customer. This company doesn’t care. The only positive was the local customer rep (Pam) that tried to help but her bosses had no interest in assisting. Terrible customer service! Half star, only because of Pam.

After having issues with my new windows due to a defect, Stanek came out and determined to replace all the windows with upgraded windows. Stanek really did a nice job of standing behind there windows. Thanks again for being there.

Our salesman was the only part of this company worth giving one star. We ordered two windows in October and had no communication from them for months. No one returned calls or emails. Finally 7 months later a crew showed up to do the install. Trim didn’t fit, there are marks on the boards, and the seat of the bay window was cracked. After many months of aggravation they finally sent someone to fix the crack from another company. We just have to live with their terrible “company standards “. Do NOT use this company.

I had Stanek windows install in two previous residences and was very pleased with the install and the few minor service requests afterwards. One of the window lock stops broke and then sent a new one. Now to the current install. Had the installation done in February Or March of this year. Install crew was from Chicago area. Worked very hard to get the job done. Now as the Winter of 2023/24 begins, I have condensation in all the windows. I have called and emailed them to get help with a resolution and no answer to either inquiry. Maybe a registered letter return receipt would let me know that they received my request for a resolution

Stopped in at the location over three weeks ago to get info and ask a simple question or two about window replacement. I was told that a rep would call me back shortly. No call back after a week so I called back and spoke with the same woman who remembered me and said that she would inform the rep immediately to call me. Guess what? No call yet and it’s been over a week! This definitely made an easy decision for me to order windows yesterday through one of Stanek’s competitors.

I have tried every way I know to contact Stanek regarding a warranty issue on our windows . I’ve called, emailed both local and corporate. I get a email saying someone will reach out and I NEVER hear back from anyone to come out to our home to address the issue. Sad that a company that had been well regarded can go down hill so rapidly .
