I have been a long time customer for All-American Window and Door with my recent purchase being in 2021. I have other purchases in 2008, and 2014. My father, my father in-law and I have all been customers. I am currently working with my elderly disabled father with a “Lifetime Warranty Claim” on windows that he purchased through All-American Window and Door in the 2000’s. All-American Window and Door verified my father’s purchase and installation. The brand of windows that he purchased was no longer carried and serviced by All American Window and Door. Their customer service worker was polite and was carefully explained the process of filing a claim with the manufacturer. Because of the quick time line needed for replacing the window (selling my disabled father’s house), they offered a vendor for me to contact and for that vendor to repair the window at my own expense. The customer service person with All-American Window and Door stated from her experience it would take 12-18 weeks to get the glass from the warranty from the manufacturer. The ask I had from All-American Window and Door was for them to purchase the glass and install it and I would pay their installation fee as a compromise. The customer service representative said they could not purchase the glass from the company they recommended. My experience in 2008 and 2014 was very positive and again purchased windows in 2021. My experience in 2021, was far from perfect and one window still is very difficult too close. Two windows were re-installed twice and the one window is still not right. I gave up on them trying to make it right because I was planning on purchasing windows in 2025 and would address the concern then. I explained to the customer service representative they have lost a customer I love the windows that they sold me, but will be trying the other area contractor that sells the exact windows. This company in my opinion was a “5” Star in 2008 and 2014, and was a “3.5” Star in 2021, and now is a “2” Star. If All-American Window and Door comes to some compromise and lives up to their warranty, I will be glad to update this remove to reflect the positive outcome.

I have always had great things to say about All American. Not anymore. I went with them because of lifetime warranty. I brought my screen door in to be fixed and they want to charge me. 3 years ago it was no charge. I was always told if I brought it in they would fix for free. They couldn’t look back to see why I wasn’t charged. Super frustrating.

All American recently replaced my kitchen windows with four double hung, triple pane, Provia windows. The overall experience was smooth and my sales rep was very nice. My only upset is that I made an extra stop to the showroom and never actually saw the product that was being used for my home. My once sun-filled kitchen now looks like a constant storm is outside due to the extreme tint of the windows, completely changing the feel of the space. I am otherwise happy with the work, I just wish I had a better idea of this prior to install and spending a significant amount of money on a product that drastically changes the look and feel of the room.
