Good value versus companies like Renewal by Anderson- and not as high pressure

We contacted them for an appointment; however he showed up one week and a day too early. We decided to give him a chance anyways with 2 windows. First the SUB CONTRACTOR he said he wouldn’t use showed up late as well. Then the window quality is very bad. All vinyl, CHEAP PRICE, which is why we went with him, and terrible quality. I wouldn’t not recommend this company to an enemy or anyone else. Not worth the headaches along the way with this “triple pane” window middle man style company!

They did a poor job on a window install. The owner (a family member) had to remove all the windows and install the correctly.

I had Dave at Royal Exteriors manage my window replacement process and am SO HAPPY that I did. The pricing was very straightforward and competitive. Overall a good value. I’m happy with the windows and the install crew. I also appreciate that Dave handled the energy rebate forms so all I have to do is mail that stuff in. Definitely recommend!

It was a late Saturday evening, I had been given a recommendation from a trusted colleague earlier that week (who does things right) on a company that does window replacements. This company did the windows on their Sellwood home. They are smart professionals and a tip from them I took seriously. I thought I’d call and leave an inquiry and expected some time next week they would get around to calling me back. Instead, 15 minutes later the CEO of Royal Exteriors, David, called me back. I told him that was unusual, he responded saying that’s the life of a business owner. I really was sold from that point on. Here’s why you should consider Royal Exteriors for your windows: 1. You deal directly with the CEO David, he comes to you personally 2. The process was efficient and painless 3. The installers showed up on time and finished the job exactly as promised 4. They cleaned up after 5. The end product was better than I expected 6. Triple pane windows at a better price than I was quoted for single pane 7. Happy wife Our 1910 home is cherished, we trusted this job to Royal Exteriors and they delivered. This upgrade has added to our quality of life at home. For two days after the job was completed I found myself lying on the living room floor gazing up through our new windows at clouds passing overhead. I’m simply delighted. The street noise is blocked, we’ve turned down the furnace setting, and I’ve yet to replace the curtains because I love looking at our new windows. I can only share my experience with David and his company, your experience might be different. We have high standards, as does my colleague who referred us to Royal Exteriors. They impressed us from start to finish. Lastly, it’s #7 on my list that should sell you…Happy wife happy life. She is a savvy business woman and gave me kudos for choosing this company. David with Royal Exteriors made the process of updating our windows easy, affordable, and stress free. He was professional, honest, and knowledgeable. It has been a lot warmer and quieter in our home since the windows were installed. The windows are gorgeous and a fabulous improvement from the old aluminum ones that we had before. I had windows installed in my Vancouver home in 2013 by Royal. In July of ’21, I began the process of having 2 windows replaced for failed seals. Since I am a saver of paperwork, I was able to document the Alside windows, with photographs and serial numbers, and go through the process of submitting a claim. While daunting and frustrating at the same time, I can’t say the process was easy, and I fully understand the difficulties with the glass industry in particular, with delays in procurement and transportation. That being said, the warranty process was less than helpful. So I decided to call Dave, knowing full well he was not servicing the WA State area. Dave responded quickly to my concerns about obtaining information from the company, and even though he wasn’t working in Vancouver anymore, magically, mystically, my claim was approved and the company emailed me with an approximate date for a complete, no charge warranty replacement. The WA based firm showed up on time, as scheduled, and had both windows replaced in a few hours. Coincidence? I think not. Perhaps Dave reached out to the company and all it took was one phone call and bingo…case closed. It’s nice to be remembered after 8 years, but the company and Dave, sure stood behind their product. I’d do business with Dave in a NY minute…if I lived in Oregon. Well done and many, many thanks!

We had Royal Exteriors come out and replace 7 of our old single-pane, aluminum framed windows. Dave was a pleasure to work with. He was very clear in setting expectations for the product and the job itself. The certified factory install team that came out was exceptional. They were very professional and did a fantastic job. The windows look great and they got installed just a few days before the 110+ heat wave we experienced in June of this year (2021). Our central AC unit had broken down a week earlier, and without these windows we would have suffered mightily. Would strongly recommend Dave, the installation crew, and the windows themselves. Will use Royal Exteriors again in the future without hesitation.

I had 6 single pane windows that I wanted to switch out. Royal Exteriors came to my home to see the windows, and then clearly explained what the company can provide (even gave me an intro with a rough time for how long the information would take to go over). They offered reviews, the buisness license, and discussed how it’s possible for this company to make the windows cheaper. He told me the exact price, and I did not pay a cent until the windows were installed. The windows took about 6-8 weeks to arrive (as quoted prior to purchase), and were installed in a day. The installers were prompt and did a great job. Now I have triple pane windows for the price of double pane! They have been installed for about three weeks; they look great, keep the heat in, and no issues with leaking; an excellent upgrade! My heating bill already went down! Can’t wait until I see a full month with them in. Furthermore, they gave me the form FILLED out, so I could just send it in for my rebate for portland gas. I’d highly recommend this company if your looking for windows!
