Bob Maceda replaced 11 windows and a patio door in 2011. We were very happy with everything for years and then we noticed that the wrapping started peeling which was very unsightly. Then we noticed a couple of our windows had broken seals and were foggy. My husband contacted Bob and he told him that company that made the windows had gone out of business and that the Lifetime Warranty was no longer valid yet we noticed that he was still in business selling clear choice windows with a Lifetime Warranty even though he is not honoring his previous warranties. Bob Maceda presented the windows to us and we were very impressed with him and we felt he would always take care of us. Installation went great, the windows looked and worked great for 8 years or so. Then the windows exposed to the sun all started peeling and one of the windows the seal broke. I emailed Bob about my issues with these lifetime warranty windows and I got no response. I called him a couple of times and finally he called me back. He explained that the windows were no longer under warranty because the window manufacturer went out of business. He said the windows could be painted, which we ended up doing. He said he would replace the window with the broken seal and only charge me for the labor. He said that he would get back in touch with me soon. Weeks went by with nothing from Bob. I tried calling and leaving messages a couple of times, but no response. I guess he is done with me. In review, everything was great until I had problems with my windows, then I was on my own. If there is a next time I am buying directly from a window manufacturer who has a long history of being in business!

We love our beautiful new windows! From the beginning of the project to the end the process was seamless. We met with Bob, the owner, and were thoroughly educated on what type of windows would be best for our home and budget. We decided to go with triple pane double hung windows. We are thrilled with the look of the window, as well as the reduction of outside noise and the savings on our energy bill. I highly recommend Clear Choice Windows to anyone in the market for high quality yet affordable replacement windows.

I had the same experience as another review I saw here. We were initially happy with the installation and the windows. We have a certificate showing the Clear Choice’s All Inclusive Lifetime Warranty, transferrable even. Then within a few years, we have had 11 windows fail because of bad seals. So far and they have refused to honor the warranty. I will update if anything changes.

Loved the install but 5 years later we have broken seals and haven’t gotten any response from the company via phone, email, or social media. Updated to add: They responded to the Angie’s list (never actually calling back) that because the manufacturer was out of business that they wouldn’t honor the replacement promises made at the sales. The window producer is out of business, but the sales promises “lifetime warranty no matter what!” were clearly false.

This company is amazing! Bob Meceda is fantastic. I went to the home show in Downtown Raleigh a couple of years ago and signed up for all the free quotes. I had several people come to my house and present me with their options. This company presented the same windows and were less (by more than half the amount) than every other competitor. They worked with me to do my windows in stages rather than all of them at once. The product is good, the customer services is outstanding. Would recommend to anyone!

We replaced 50 windows on our home. Professional on all levels. Competitive pricing, started on time, finished on time, courteous and friendly. Cleaned up every night and made sure all windows were locked before they left. Would recommend them to all.

Well, he was not interested in an over 16k job, 10 windows and siding for 1/3 of house. Strange, he seemed to be in a hurry and not interested in “piecework,” did not want to even give an estimate. I took time off from work, drove 30 miles, what a waste of time.
