If i could give these guys a negative number i would. Their windows are not cheap and 1 month into the install the windows are sticking, do not lock and the tech was filing away pieces. I wont even start with the install debacles (plural). And to top it off i get a message to get my point of view and the number they leave says they work Monday to Friday until 5. At 4:30 the message suggests they are gone for the day. This seems like a Mickey Mouse operation. Either spend more and get a better quality window or better yet spend less and you may still be an improvement. Run dont walk from these guys!!

Installers left windows slightly dirty and damaged surrounding drywall causing them to come back. After installers left, we found a hole in one window pane and had trouble opening another. I can say they did come and fix all things but it was an additional inconvenience to be home for the fixes.

I have had two contracts with Thompson Creek and both times they have refused to fulfill parts of them. On this last contract, every step of the way it was confirmed that something important would be done and it wasn’t an issue. When the crew was about to finish the work I was told they couldn’t do this particular item, another crew would need to do it. After back and forth from the office I was told it can’t be done (of course now that the work is completed). I’m either being lied to now or was every step on the way until installation. The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is because my salesman was fantastic, as was the person who managed my account and the work of the crew themselves.

Great product, however, sales people told us lifetime warranty. I have a broken handle which is 8 years old, and they won’t warrant it. Very disappointed with miscommunication that occurred. The customer service rep was very quick to send me a copy of their warranty but I still haven’t received a quote for the parts that I need. Please make sure you look at all of the little wording in the documents… All of this after being on hold for thirty minutes, to speak to an associate. Now I have called three times to acquire pricing on hardware, and they don’t want to sell. I received an email they were looking into it… Very disappointing.. Never again..

While I’ve been very happy with my Thompson Creek Windows. Their service department is totally unreliable and inaccessible. They came to get my broken screen on May 20, scheduled a reinstall on June 7th, never showed up and now are completely unreachable via email, phone or contact form. Its July 15th and I still have no screen in my window. What’s the deal Thompson Creek? Stand by your product with atleast good, responsive service.
