We had 6 windows and 4 doors replaced by Window World of Frederick on January 13, 2022. Three of the doors were scratched or nicked during installation and a blind in the window of one door did not function properly (it will go up and down but won’t close). We have had numerous people from WW come out over the last 2 1/2 years and it is always ‘we have to order paint’ or ‘we need to check with the manufacturer’ or ‘it’s too hot/humid/wet to paint’…we have heard nothing but excuses. A month ago I was told by Jeff that he has to check with the warranty dept of the door manufacturer. The warranty should have nothing to do with it since they have known about the issue since the week of installation. Two and a half years and still, our issue is unresolved. I hate to leave a bad review for a company but I’ve had enough. Next stop is the Better Business Bureau. I will add that although the windows themselves are very nice, the installation is shoddy. They use sheet aluminum to make the windowsills on the outside and bend them by hand so none of them are uniform in shape.

I had windows replaced yesterday. My whole experience had been amazing. From the time I called and spoke to Teressa about a quote to completion of the job. The crew was prompt, organized and efficient. Josue and team were outstanding and left the job clean! Highly recommend using window world. Ask for Teresa! Her customer service is on point. Well done.

We bought 20 windows several years and finally had a minor issue. They came out promptly and fixed it, no charge. They are wonderful to work with.

We had 3 windows and 3 doors replaced in our house. It took window world 15 visits to our house and 4 project managers to get this job done, not because we requested a different project manager but because they kept quitting and leaving the company. When the job was “done”, it wasn’t completely finished and there were dents made and left in the tile of our floor and walls that they did not fix. The installers who came to do the front door spoke no English and had to call someone for them to translate every time they needed to talk to us about something. I had to continuously call window world to get them to come back out to our house to complete their work, instead of them coming to finish the job or setting appointments like they should have. I waited a year to review the company so I could at least comment on if their installations were worth all of the headache and they’re not. The screen doors do not slide well, and you have to finesse them into place any time you open or close them. The gasketing around the front door is already thinning out with only a years use. I would not recommend using this branch of window world. The only person at the company who was good is named John and he tried very hard to fix everything he could for us, but could only do so much once the initial installations were complete.

There was some delay with our order, supply issues, not their fault. However, Steve and Theresa’s support was clear and honest, and Hugo’s installation was absolutely flawless!! Thank you

I am very happy with my new windows from Window World. The salesman was polite, knowledgeable and exerted no pressure on me to purchase. The installation went smoothly and the replacement windows fit well and appear to be of good quality and value.
