Got nine new windows put in several months back. Love the windows. Had some problem with the caulking material cracking without question they came out to fix it and four of my windows actually got recapped as well ( big thanks to Chuck) . They stand by their work. Crews are professional, courteous, and punctual. Special shout out to Rafael’s crew I have had people drive by my house and comment on the windows.

Thermal King has installed windows for several members of my family in the past and now it’s my turn. So far all contact with the company has been with Steve Sage and Andrew. Both have been helpful and kind. I’m looking forward to our install and I will update my review then with I’m sure more positive words. They have been very helpful and faithful to contract agreements with my family members and I expect the same with my relationship with this company. I trust my 100 year old house is in good hands Update: install was done by Eric and he did a fabulous job! I couldn’t be happier with my new windows.

Very happy so far with the windows and installation! We recently moved into a house, and there are several repairs that we needed to get done. Some windows needed immediate replacement, so this was one of the first things we were trying to get done. The back of our house faces west and gets beamed by the sun. With our original 29 year old windows, it would get incredibly hot standing next to the windows and we would have to close the blinds because we would get sun burned when sitting on the couch. It was important to us that we got high quality windows that can block out the sun and heat in the summer. Thermal king windows had the best windows for our needs. We ended up doing 5 windows, 3 in the family room and 2 in the master and are very happy we went with them so far. We no longer have to close the blinds during the afternoon to block out the sun! The windows stay cool even with the sun shining directly through them! They are also great looking windows with the screens as well, and they also have a tint on them that makes it very hard to see in during the day. Will keep this review updated throughout the years we have the windows!

My wife and I ended up buying 20 windows from Thermal King and we are very satisfied with the results of both the product and installation. I will caution any other buyer that if you don’t do some research and make certain you clearly specify what you want and do not want – your transaction can go in a direction that fails you. We we first engaged with numerous window sellers in the KC Metro, we found nearly every sale person wanting to “close today” which I find very annoying. Unfortunately, their sales person was not any better in his approach and I was upset that I later discovered he was more confused about what type of installation he had included in his quote than I was. I would remedy that approach. When quoted he confirmed specifics that were not clearly delineated in the quote and when the chief installer came out to schedule and time-out the project I learned that they type of install the sales agent discussed was available but that he failed to quote it. However, the manager / owner / install team made it work out. They made a third trip to my house, confirmed what would work best for my house and needs and included additional materials and installation time within the original quoted price. So for me, the competitive quote worked out and the triple-paned casement windows were installed along with any additional insulation and trim and all work great. We ended up doing an additional project and that worked out great also. We did not replace double-hung with double hung inserts, we replaced with casements and awnings and needed some framework wood replaced and trim replaced. If it’s time to get new windows, you can expect to discover that your home has experienced at least a little settling that helps cause windows to not fit so squarely. We wanted to be beyond a cheap window simply inserted in the hole where the original was – most sales agents seem to still believe in miracles and think their products solve problems that only quality installations can resolve. The product is a good design, well made and competitively priced, but more importantly, Thermal King’s install team is sharp, knowledgable, and considerate. I was very impressed with the installation work.

Edit: Steve Sage contacted me from Thermal King and we went over everything listed below. He is going to get us all the information that is necessary to make informed decision. Steve was determined to make this right and has done that. Thanks Steve. Edit 6/17/2024: We decided after Steve contacted us to use Thermal King windows and have no regret. The windows are absolutely fantastic and have made a HUGE difference. We can now enjoy our living room again. We used to set our thermostat on 69 to 70 degrees because our old windows offered no protection from the sun as it faces the West. We now set our thermostat to 74 degrees and it doesn’t get hot in the living room anymore. The install team was quick and efficient. Thermal King has followed up twice since the installation on 6/6/2024. We had a small hole in our screen they are going to order a new screen and replace it. We will be using this company again soon and recommend them to anyone needing windows. We have 4 more windows and a sliding glass door we will be replacing by using Thermal King. We had Thermal King Windows come out on Friday (4/12/2024). They were not very complimentary of other window companies and spent a good portion of the appointment bashing the other companies and their products which we expected. After all the measuring and talking, we got down to pricing. It was a very high pressure sign a contract today pitch. This pricing is only good today with the discounts I am giving you type of pressure. We told him that unless he beat the other prices we had received by a decent amount we wanted to compare everyone’s warranties and pricing before making a decision. We asked him to email us his bid and warranty information. He refused and said he doesn’t use email. He couldn’t print off the bid or warranty information on his computer either and told us to go to their website and find the warranty info. It truly felt like after he knew we weren’t going to sign a contract that night he didn’t try to get our business. We have decided to not consider this company for our needs moving forward.

Did a whole house window and siding replacement on our 1960s house. Company worked with us on timing the job and price. Professional and good work. Kudos to Regis and his James Hardie siding crew. Sales Stephen Constant was responsive and helpful. Recommend!

All but one window in my house is Thermal King. They did a beautiful huge bay window for me in my living room a few years ago and I was so impressed with the quality and the ease of working with this company that I had the rest of my windows replaced by them just a few months ago. The sales rep, Stephen Constant, is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and am all around great guy to work with. I recommend this company to anyone seeking new windows.

Stephen was a great sales person to work with. No pressure. Understood I was getting several bids. Continued to follow up if I needed anything. Updated my bid easily when I made changes. I really appreciate it that the installers worked for the company and were not contracted out. Matheus and Weaverson are very skilled installers. Stayed intent on their work and cleaned up well after each room. They were prompt and reliable. The product met all my expectations. And the energy star rating will certainly help keep our large rooms more manageable with the crazy heat and cold we get in Kansas. I would 100% recommend this company.
