We recently had four large and one small window replaced in our home by Pella Windows. Oh my! What an amazing crew! Brad and his “guys” did an awesome job! They arrived promptly at 8:00 a.m., removed all the old windows, installed the new ones and were all finished by 2:00 p.m. They even cleaned the new windows and vacuumed the work area! We couldn’t be happier with our new windows. They’re beautiful and work so much better than our old ones did. We highly recommend Pella Windows and, if we ever need any more replaced, we’ll certainly be calling on them!

I had high expectations for the quality of the products, but the quality, measurement, installation, communication, and service have been very unprofessional. I am very frustrated with the delayed or lack of responses after the installation. They were very active when I ordered the products, but after the installation, I encountered many issues, and they have not maintained the same level of activity and responsiveness. I am very disappointed.

I give 5 stars for our Salesman Jim Puruett, and our coordinator Jessie Tentinger, they both were very helpful and went above and beyond to help us. I also give 5 stars for our install crew they worked hard and quickly while they were getting rained on. The reason I lowered my overall rating is the problems we had with getting all the construction waste picked up. The day we were scheduled to have the old door and various trash picked up I was called and told the truck broke down and it would be the next day. No problem those things happen. Next day comes and the truck that shows up is a rental and I can only assume are contractors. These guys first back into my mailbox and then complained that my driveway is too narrow. Then they complain about the size of the door they are there to pickup and that no one told them about it. I watch them as they try to break the sliding door to get it t fit in their truck after fumbling around for about 30 minutes and multiple calls later, they put the door agaisnt the side of the garage, but leave it sitting out a few feet. This is info will be important in minute. Then they ask me if I have a chainsaw, I don’t but wouldn’t have loaned it even if I had. They then tell me they can’t take the door since it won’t fit and the install crew should have broken down the door and say someone else will need to pick up the door. I call Jessie and let her know. She says she will look into it and get another truck scheduled. Later that day wind picks up and blows the sliding door over onto a shared sidewalk. I call and leave a message with Jessie and let her know we are not strong enough to move the door. After an hour of no answer I take a look at the door and figure out how take the door apart without the use of a chainsaw. I can’t believe Pella sends a couple of guys who have no clue, no training and no tools. With all that said I would use Pella in the future but would make damn sure to verify what needs to be done with the waste

No one available to answer product questions on site. Would charge for a trip charge to come to my home. Only option given was to call number on a business card & send photos. Very disappointing for a company that readily advertises & talks about quality products.

We had new front door, back door, and egress window installed at the beginning of July. We spent a lot of money and hoped the experience would reflect that. First they scheduled our install without contacting us. It was a month later when I finally contacted them to find out the install had been scheduled for a long time and if we pushed the date it would be 6 weeks later for the next available time. When they showed up for install they didn’t have everything to complete the job because they lost some stuff. No word on when it would be finished. Then they left at 2p and left all the trash on the side of the front of our house without saying a word. I ended up seeing it an hour later and called only to find out they won’t be getting it that day (a Friday). They scheduled time to get it on Monday. How embarrassing for have a bunch of trash left in the front of the yard for a whole weekend. I’m beyond frustrated and honestly doubt it will be completed. I regret my purchase. We had to wait another month for the trim on the egress window to be completed. I’ve been forced to call multiple times a week. They keep losing the pieces. Last week we were scheduled for the trim to be installed and I called after they didn’t show up at the right time. Turns out no one was scheduled to come. So they threw the job on the trim team when I called and they don’t have the right stuff here to do it so they came out the next day. It’s like the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing at Pella. No one has yet to connect with me about trying to make this right. Whatever you do when selecting a window installer… DON’T PICK PELLA! Overall the Job was finally finished almost a month late. I can’t help but not recommend Pella at this time. They don’t seem to know how to schedule jobs and communicate with customers. They take your money and then randomly decide to finish when they have been hounded enough. From what I was told by their staff this is an ongoing issue and they have a number of unhappy customers right now. I have yet to be able to get someone to call me back to talk through issues so this doesn’t happen to others. I don’t think Pella cares.
