I had Hartford Exteriors complete a job at my place. The workmanship they did is excellent and I am very happy with how the project turned out.

Worst experience ever. I’ve had a lot of indoor and outdoor remodeling done to my home and everything from different companies. Roof, windows, siding, garage door, concrete, kitchen, etc. Hartford Exteriors did my windows and is the only company that disappointed. Once you sign the contract, communication stops. When sales rep finally reaches out, she lies about everything and I would have to call her out on her lies. I would even tell her to check the texts she’s sent to prove she is lying. Installers did not want to replace rotten wood (even though it’s in the contract). I told Installers to replace, they agreed and then when I wasn’t around, they covered the rotten wood with a 1×4 wood over it. I caught them and told them they had to remove the rotten wood. Installers damaged the interior window frame in 7 of my 8 windows and when I complained to sales rep, she said “that’s normal, we end up damaging a lot of windows during installation”, I spoke to the owner and was advised I would need to pay $300 per damaged window and they accept no responsibility. At the end, I was offered $300 discount in total so I can contract another company to fix the damages. I also requested they make a claim with their insurance since they dont want to pay, but the owner refused. No company will fix it for $300 since it’s 7 damaged window frames, now I’ll be at a loss. Also, sales rep kept insisting to send her Installers to do the windows while my family and I had covid (since we would be home). What a lack of respect and concern for safety for your installers! Avoid this company! Too many damages, lots of lies, and poor installation.

Formerly known as IS Windows is a scam company. Replaced our roof through insurance. Roof has been falling apart literally since day 1. The warranty they offer is useless because they don’t honor it. Shingles are supposed to withstand winds of up to 100 mph but they keep falling off with 40 mph winds and these guys won’t take responsibility. Please, pick a company that is honest and stands by their work. Do not go with these guys unless you feel like wasting money.

I used Hartford Exteriors in Roselle for only one window. It needed to be shorter, but Hartford Exteriors didn’t feel the job is too small. Very professional, excellent customer services and in time from the time I placed the order until the window was installed. For installation, I could not get a better team. Professional, respectful and paying attention to all of my requests, the installation team set the window quick and without any mess. Thank you for amazing job! I highly recommend Hartford Exteriors for anyone and any job!
