Not happy with product or service. $25K later several unresolved issues remain. Owner threatened to sue me for leaving poor review. Would not recommend!

Ordered custom front doors for our home Jan 2021. Installed September 2021. Doors are beautiful and at the time we were happy with them. Very soon in spring 2022 the doors began to have expansion/shrinkage/bowing issues and failed to latch. We expected some allowances but doors would just not latch properly unless we pulled door hard and locked them. Had service techs out multiple occasions and shims placed to the maximum. Still having issues, doors will not latch unless we pull close tightly and lock. Gap between latch and strike plate to large. (See photos of bowed door and gap). Presents danger with small children or dogs easily pushing door open. Awaiting the tiastricqal piece to be ordered and installed to help. Ordered in Dec 2022 and is now May 2023. Waiting for nearly 6 months now. Called emailed no responses or updates. Absolutely unacceptable. Would not recommend unless you want no solutions or responses.

This was top rate from beginning to end. Of all the people I have had work at my house. JOHNNY the installation guy was the cleanest worker and very meticulous. I am so glad I waited it put and am over the moon for my new door.

Old ways won’t open new doors. Looking good hurricane windows and door store with nice personal. Price is regular for this kind of store. If you pay with cash, you’ll get 15% off, which is nice, but you never know what is the original price was.

Courtney was awesome to work with. She is knowledgeable, (very) patient and quick to respond. Supply chain issues created a 6-month wait from contract to completion – but I was aware of this from the inception. Unfortunately, the doors I originally ordered became discontinued from the manufacturer during this process but Courtney found an acceptable alternative which did not further delay the installation. A minor issue regarding the installation of the lock that I provided, but it was quickly resolved. No hesitation to refer, or use again, Custom Door Shop!!

Wow! From start to finish this was a great experience. In spite of the supply chain issues and the scheduling difficulties being seen these days by many companies the Custom Door Shop did a great and timely job. As a family owned and operated business they had the technical knowledge and experience in house to do a beautiful job on our front and cabana doors. We could not be happier.

These guys were fantastic. They installed mahogany doors and transom and were meticulous. The installation could not have been better. After the installation, they sent me photos of the various stages so that I could show them to the West Palm Beach inspector. When she appeared, I gave her the photos and paperwork and she immediately said that this is a very professional company. I passed the inspection with absolutely no issues. Great company and great support. We are thrilled with our beautiful front doors.

Custom Door Shop: Overall very happy with our experience and final product. Thank you. PROS: Excellent products with unique hardware options. Great service, from sales to installation, to after-market service. CONS: Very, very expensive and looong lead times.
