Whitehurst Mobile Home Specialist a month agoKevin and Zack did an awesome job on our California room. We had a delapidated sunroom that was leaking water, no insulation, and was basically useless as an xtra room. They made a beautiful California room with dual pane windows, beautiful front door with a digital lock, and a sliding glass door to our back yard. The whole room is completely insulated. The job was done in a timely manner, and they worked with us every step of the way. We very highly recommend them to anyone needing work on their mobile home. We Are looking forward to having them redo our roof, and other projects. We love our new room.

Tytum Construction 10 months agoHighly recommend. We have used BuildX for house reconstruction as well as to build an extension. There were a lot of tricky moments with construction. We have received full support and explanations of how to proceed with the project in the best way possible.

RE-Nu Construction a month agoCame to a job interview 40 minutes all the way to Vista after a 10 minute phone conversation with the owner. Crashed on the freeway, still muscled through the interview. All so they could decline to hire me because I didn’t have over half a dozen power tools, and they offered me $22 an hour (joke of a salary) if I had them. They would have saved me thousands of dollars if they would have just simply put in their ad “POWER TOOLS REQUIRED” or told me over the phone. Incredibly disappointing experience, and a complete waste of my time and money. Set me back, and I’m barely recovering.

Quality Construction Solutions Inc 2 months agoReliable. Honest and Efficient Contractor We recently used QSC, Ryan Hutt, to complete a major remodel of our kitchen, family room, and full bath. Our house was built in the 1980s and had not been updated. The rooms had to be fully gutted including ceilings raised, a half wall removed, the fireplace place retiled, and the plumbing relocated in both the kitchen and bathroom. Ryan provided us with a fair and transparent proposal and worked diligently to keep us on budget throughout the project. We did encounter a few issues requiring additional costs, however, these issues were resolved in a cost-effective manner. Ryan also provided weekly updates for all phases and completed the project within the projected timeframe. Ryan and his team were professional and friendly. They were always on time, did quality work, and cleaned up every day, They were accommodating and easy to work with during the project, Ryan was also very responsive to phone calls and text messages providing good communication throughout the remodel. We highly recommend Ryan and QSC. We are really happy and pleased with our newly updated kitchen, family room and bathroom.

Proteus Homes 3 weeks agoProteus Homes is absolutely fantastic! Their quality of work, professionalism, and expertise is quite remarkable! They built a 535sqft detached ADU for my mom and we are very, very happy with the end product! During the design phase, Luca and JD were extremely helpful when I was stuck on trying to decide which design would fit the vision I had for my mom’s ADU! JD communicated regularly throughout the design and permitting process. Ryan was quick to respond to any concerns that needed addressed. But, once the final phases begun, Rusty was truly the one person that had to work with me on a regularly basis (that in itself is a hard job)! Rusty was kind, patient, and happy to answer my many questions! He never lost his patience with me and always kept such a kind and pleasant demeanor. Thank you Rusty! Your wisdom about the many avenues of construction and your hard work was greatly appreciated! If you are looking for a team to “weather the storms” of a new build, Proteus Homes will not disappoint!
