A few years ago they installed a windshield for me on my old import I was in the process of restoring. After their install that was great, the trim had to be removed for paint and of course that ruined the trim. So almost exactly 1 1/2 years later (that’s how long it was in paint and body) I asked if the trim could be salvaged or if I had to start over? They said leave it with us and we will try our best. This was exactly two days after the car was picked up from paint. They were able to glue the trim back on, and didn’t even charge me! I was appreciative. When I got home I decided to look a little closer at the trim and noticed the car was scratched. Since they were closed, I called first thing the next day. The owner claimed there was no way they could have done the damage as they used no tools. I described the scratches and marks and again he said he wasn’t denying but that he didn’t think it was possible. He asked for photos via email and I sent several. Then never heard back. They lucked out this time because the company that painted my car was willing to repair for free, but the company said it would have been a $900 fix. All the way down to the metal! The windshield was removed, again, and trim, and the A pillar repainted. This time the company I went with to replace the windshield had a library of trims and which trims were able to be used and available on my older import. So I actually got a better fitting trim piece and the new windshield is better quality (the other one was garbage but that’s the norm now I hear for all windshield makers). So I guess a win. I didn’t write this review for a while. Trying to give them time to respond, at all. I got to thinking about it, I’m pretty sure the scuffs were a plastic trim tool, and maybe the scratch was the caulk gun. A hey we are sorry would have been nice. I guess. I personally wasn’t out anything, but someone else this could have been a lot of money to fix. I don’t think this company would have owned up to it. It would probably have had to go to court. Not cool.

They did a good job on cutting glass for me, but they need time to get it done. They’re not staffed with a dedicated glass cutting person, so when the crew is in the shop, they have staffing available to cut glass. That’s the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

After waiting around Safelite for an hour after my appointment time and zero progress, I drove by Spokane Glass Center and stopped in to see when they could fix my window. Answer: “Is now OK?” They ordered the part and started taking the door apart immediately. I was back on road with a functioning window, guaranteed for life, within 90 minutes of driving in. Great work, great service, nice people. Shop local!
