Called on 8/28/2023 and requested glass repair on a sliding glass door. The representative stated that a technician would be out on 8/29/2023 between 1:00pm and 4:00pm and they would call before hand to let me know that the technician was in route. After taking the afternoon off, the technician was a NO SHOW / NO CALL. Very disappointing!

I paid almost 8,000 for skylights to be replaced. First rain it pours in my house. Come back twice to caulk. Still have drips. Called roofing company for another issue and they thought the skylight was at least 20 years old with the unprofessional looking mess they made. PLEASE don’t waste your money. I’ve tried to get this resolved for over a year with no progress. I’m sure the company will have a reasonable explanation. But a terrible looking messy job that still leaks???

I emailed Glass Doctor describing what I needed. The office personal promptly contacted me and scheduled an appointment. She called to confirm the workers were on their way to take the measurements and set the work order. The next day of the install she called again to confirm they were on their way. The guys came out assessed the work, quoted me a price and said they would be out the very next morning to install. They came out the next morning and installed the window as described. They were very professional and friendly. Finished the job and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend this company and will be hiring them in the near future to do some more work I need done. Thank you, Glass Doctor Kingsport, TN 07/07/2023

I called Glass Dr on 4/13 re the repair of several cracked panes. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly nice and scheduled for Blake to come to my home on 4/18. I was a little concerned when they couldn’t give me a time and said he would call me when he was on his way or I could call after 9am on the morning of the 18th to get what time he would be at my house. I called and was told that he had a big install job that he was doing and wouldn’t be able to do the job they had scheduled for m, but they could reschedule me for sometime the next week. How unprofessional! My husband would have been waiting all day for someone who had no plans to show! I couldn’t recommend this company to aone! They weren’t even apologetic. An

Was hesitant to leave a negative review, until I talked to the owner (Dwight Jones), then felt it was completely warranted. Run far away, call a different company. Let’s start with the positive: Came out within 24 hours of confirming my windshield on my vehicle would be replaced. Technician was very nice. Now for the rest of the review. My replacement windshield was busted when installing. I get it, things happen. Was left waiting the rest of the day without a vehicle because I was told they would be back before the end of the business day to get a new windshield installed. At 5:00 I’m told they’re not replacing my windshield today but I would know something tomorrow. So, at this point I have a windshield that is busted worse than the original that I’m left to deal with until I get a 2nd replacement. I get a call saying they will be out 5 days later to fix the windshield that this company busted, but for my trouble they’ll be waiving the calibration fee. When asked what that cost would look like now, I’m told it’s the exact same price as what Dwight quoted me prior to taking the job. So a non-existent discount on a windshield that’s worse than my previous one. After going back and forth about this for a little bit we get it worked out where I can get the windshield replaced the following day. I asked to speak to Dwight (the owner), and he starts spouting off about everything that can come to his mind. Doesn’t bother to listen to anything I have to say. Tells me to take it or leave it? All in all horrid experience and now I’ll be waiting on the next company (probably Safelite, who I should have used to begin with) to come fix his companies mess. I’m sure he’ll have some response in rebuttle here as he’s done with the rest of the negative reviews, but take my word here. I’m sure they do fine work when everything is smooth, but you don’t want to deal with them if everything is not smooth.

Terrible experience with The Glass Doctor. Got my windshield replaced at the beginning of the summer 2022, the tech didn’t put the weather strip back on properly and it blew off. I am STILL WAITING on a replacement part. Months later. Horrible customer service.
