Growing up, as I bounced between my parent’s homes, life was a series of moves between rentals, and sometimes we had no place to stay at all. We were a family acquainted with financial fragility; a simple car issue could spiral into job loss or insurmountable debt. For my parents, making a living wage was the immediate concern, leaving the dream of home ownership a distant thought. Yet, they were dreamers, inheritors of a hopeful spirit from their own parents. They believed in the possibility of a better life, that their efforts would one day culminate in achieving the “American dream.” The American dream, as I see it, is about transcending mere survival. It’s about taking pride in one’s work, earning enough to not only cover the basics but also enjoy life’s simple pleasures. It’s about providing for your family and offering your children opportunities you might not have had. Building and designing our own home was the ultimate embodiment of this dream. Now, as I look out of my living room windows, overlooking the city that has been the backdrop to three generations of my family’s hopes and struggles, I feel a profound sense of accomplishment. This house, expertly constructed by Verity Construction, is more than just a structure; it’s a testament to a journey of perseverance and hope. I want to express my deepest gratitude to Verity Construction for turning my dream into a reality. This house is not just a personal achievement; it symbolizes the fulfillment of my family’s long-held aspirations. It stands as proof that with hard work, resilience, and the right support, dreams can indeed come true. SWISS Construction 3 years agoTom is a great builder/remodeler! He has done numerous projects for us including adding a 900 sq, ft, 2 story addition to our house, as well as turning a rundown duplex into a beautiful 1500 sq ft office building. All done on time at reasonable prices.

These folks at SB James have been so responsive and easy to work with through several projects. Their customer service is exceptional. Had an issue and they provided a solution in 49 minutes. Highest rating!

R.A. Murphy Construction a year agoRL Murphy performed a foundation inspection that they were not qualified to perform stating that the foundation was not sound just to acquire a foundation repair job. When the foundation was professionally inspected it was discovered that the foundation was sound and did not need the repair that was quoted.
