Nov 2014: I brought a double pane window that had moisture stuck in between the panes. The owner told me it was fixable, would cost $45 “cash money” as he called it, and would be done by 1pm I came back at 1 and he had it on the table and was working on it. He told me to come back at 4 but that they closed at 430. I arrived at 440 due to traffic and the rain that had started. The owner went balistic at me being 10 minutes late, yet he was 4 hours late with the window I paid my $45 in cash and the owner refused to give me a receipt. I assume this is part of his tax evasion scheme. The next morning I awoke to condensation in between the window panes, yet again. Realizing I had just paid $45 and wasted a day for nothing, I returned to the store. The owner was not happy to see me. He told me to come back at the end of the day and pick it up. No apologies or even a sense of being wrong. Picked it up at end of day and the owner tried to hold me window hostage for an addition $25 to fix the bad work I had already paid him for. I argued my way out of this extortion attempt and left. SURPRISE! My fixed-twice window from Star Glass has condensation inside of it yet again after one week of being back in use. Avoid this place and their shady business practices. Now I need to wait for a warm day to take the window to another glass place to fix Star Glass’s incompetence.
