Not a great experience with Glass Doctor of Fort Lauderdale. They were to replace a pane of impact glass in the front of my house. So a technician comes out, takes measurements, and leaves. Next morning, doorbell rings, same technician – he lost all his paperwork and needs to remeasure. Ok. A few days later, I get a proposal; unfortunately both the thickness and color of the glass were listed incorrectly. Another tech comes out a day or two later, and this time the specs are right. A few weeks later, the install happens. Lots of pounding and noise, and after the tech leaves, we discover he had damaged our porch wall. I call the company, and they promise to pay for the damage, just send them an invoice, which I did, twice, but that and several phone calls later, each one assuring me they will issue a refund, nothing has happened. In the end, the glass install, after a couple false starts, was fine, but the overall experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

My passenger window was broken in the city, I went to the glass doctor, they did the job quickly and cleaned the glass residue that was left on the seat. Good price, good service.

I needed a windshield replacement on the leased vehicle (OEM). I called for the estimate and got the price for the aftermarket one as the price for the OEM part. My insurance sent a referral but Glass Doctor never informed me that the part that will be installed on my car is not the OEM part I requested. After the installation was completed I noticed that the windshield was an aftermarket one and asked what happened, they told me that it was a misunderstanding and that if I want the OEM one I need to pay for the second windshield and the installation cost. This shows how little they care for their customers. Whoever is looking at the reviews of this business needs to understand that this is the house glass business and car glass is the side work for them. This means that the majority of reviews are coming from house doors and windows and not from car installations. I wish someone told me this before I went to this place.

My experience was PHENOMENAL. Very Professional & I was in & out in less than an Hour & a Half. That includes the timing for getting to my appointment early. If I could give them 10 Stars I would. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

This is an awesome company. The office staff were amazing. And the Service Techs: Mike and Gary did a great job installing the new glass in my door. Even came back by to tweak it a little, after I felt the alignment was a off. Same Day!!!! Thanks Guys!
