I always get 3 quotes on a job. Coastal Residential not only saved me a couple hundred bucks on 4 windows, but they also installed the next day since they already had the windows in stock. The other 2 quotes were going to take about 2 weeks before they could install because they had to order the glass. The man who installed, Jeff, was so polite and kind. He took a look at my sliding glass door that was being stubborn, and he cleaned it and greased it so now it works like new. Thanks so much!

If I could give 0/5 stars I would. This company, specifically their owner Jeff, over promises and under delivers. I placed an order for 2 windows and had a 2 week install date set. After 3 weeks (and multiple phone calls on my end asking when they were installing), they came out to install. To find out the estimate measurements were wrong! So I was told it would be 2 more weeks. It has now been 4 more weeks (7 total weeks since ordering) and we still do not have windows. I call and email multiple times a week just to get the runaround. They schedule a time frame for a specific date and then just don’t show up after making you wait around. Not even a courtesy call that they can’t make it. This has happened 3 times…and counting! The owner will lie to your face about install dates, competency of his staff, and if he even spoke to you on the phone. They’re cheaper than the competition but that’s about the only nice thing I have to say about them.

Received several quotes from different companies to replace glass in sliding portion of window. Came across Coastal and gave them a call. Someone came out the next day to give me a quote (great price) for the repair and took care of the installation the very next day. He did a fantastic job and it took less than 15 minutes. Great experience and would recommend Coastal Residential Glass

I had a broken window at my house and I called Coastal to get a quote. They came out and gave me a good price for the repair. They came back quickly with the replacement glass and got it taken care of. Jeff and his partner were very friendly and professional. The work looks great and they cleaned up well. This is the best experience I have ever had with a contractor and would recommend them to anyone.

I’ve had a horrible experience with this company. They put a temporary window glass to fix a shattered glass. In the process of putting the temporary glass the installer actually broke the temporary glass and informed me that once the permanent piece was ready they were going to install it. It’s been a week and half and i keep getting lied to of when that install will be, it’s an excuse after excuse and nothing gets resolved. I also paid in full already. At this point I am going to report them to the better business bureau.

UPDATE 12/4 – knocking down to 3 stars and maybe more if situation is not remedied: since I had a good experience with Coastal Glass (with the exception of some tardiness), I recommended it to my father. He called a few weeks ago, and they gave him a quote, measured, and are fabricating. However, he paid in full, and since then, he has wasted many days when they were supposed to do the install and never showed up with many excuses. They still have not installed. I am so embarrassed I recommended them to my Dad, and I will not recommend again. All they have to do is NOT over promise or schedule if everything is not ready. I hope that they will complete the install this week or stop lying to my Father. —— Had a great experience with Coastal Glass. Needed 6 fogged window panes replaced and some spring balance rods changed. Called and they immediately answered and gave me a quote over the phone. Came out next day to measure and scheduled install for the next day. Highly responsive. A little late to appointments (no biggie for me as I work from home) but everything looks really great and just like the original windows. It’s nice to see the trees again! Thank you guys for a job well done and a very fair price. 🙂

I’ve dealt with hundreds of contractors over my lifetime. I’ve never seen a better example of overpromising and under delivering. Jeff, the owner goes beyond it all and will flat out lie to your face when it comes to delivering their product. After months of listening to excuse after excuse as to why he, nor his crews have shown up for promised installations, I’ve decided to write this review as a warning to anyone who requires prompt and accurate service. If you’d like to learn from someone on how to pass the buck or for a list of lame excuses, then call these jokers. I’ve never dealt with such unprofessionalism. It’s so true you get what you pay for. They may come in cheaper than other glass companies but it is because they just are horrible. Call Lee and Cates or a litany of other glass companies in the area. These guys are a joke!

Received estimates from several glass companies to replace the front windows of our house. Jeff responded with an estimate. Fortunately, eight of the ten window sections were standard size and he had most of them in stock. The two top arched windows with grids had to be ordered. Installers Chad and Danny did a very good job and the install of all ten windows was completed in just over two hours. Great price, quality LoE #366 Tempered Insulated Glass and professional service. Provided military discount also. Recommend Coastal Residential to anyone needing window glass replacement.

I only called for a replacement glass quote. They called right back and gave me a quote over the phone and were very helpful and nice. I will have them come by for measurements after hurricane season
