A couple of years ago I purchased a new motor for my garage. Each year A1 reminds me to get my yearly maintenance review. This year I called because I felt there was an issue since once the door was almost down it kinda dropped. Two men came out and step by step they showed me what they were doing and why. My springs just needed adjustment. I’m very satisfied with A1 affordable garage repair.

Our garage door was having issues and we called A-1 because they were the ones who had serviced the garage door in the past. If I ran a service business – David would be someone I would try and hire immediately. He helped my wife program her remote (and the one in her car). He went out of his way to be professional and courteous. If I can give this company advice, please don’t lose him, he is the key to success in this type of business. The tech was nice but their pricing suck. They were 30% higher to replace springs. Ridiculous!!! After paying them an $89 service fee & going with another company, I still came out cheaper. The name is deceptive – A1 Affordable! Really???

I had the tension spring replaced. David did a fantastic job. My garage runs more smoothly now than before. He made some adjustments to the garage door once he replaced the spring.

I have had the pleasure of working with these fine folks at A1 Affordable for the last several years. They have provided me with all types of service on our garage door opener from annual maintenance check ups to occasional repairs to full replacement of our motor (gave up “the ghost” after some 20+ years of service). From their office staff to their on site technicians, my experiences with them were marked by both friendliness and professionalism. If repairs were needed, up front cost estimates were provided as well as discussions of what alternate repairs might be utilized if possible. Always found them to be fair and competitive.

Please don’t use this company. The opener system I purchased required two trips to install, and they only told me the final cost of the replacement rollers after they were installed. They knew I was installing a wall mount vs. a ceiling mount, refused to run a line, and left the garage opening button at the rear of the garage. They overcharged me for the new rollers. 299.00, and you can buy the same rollers on Amazon for 28.00. They only told me the cost of the rollers after the installation. The installers did not install the light fixture, which caused the MY Q app to malfunction. One would hope when you hire a professional company that you would, I am going to tell everyone I know not to use this company.

A1 Affordable Garage Door Repair Services is a awesome company! The office staff was very nice and professional. We were able to book a appointment the same day! The tech’s came out to our house when we had issues with our garage door. They did a thorough examination of our door and opener. They were able to diagnose our problem fairly quickly, and installed a brand new garage door opener the same day! They did a great job! The price for the service call and the new opener were below the competitor rates. We were very impressed with the warranty offered on the new opener also. The office even followed up with a phone call the next day to make sure were were happy with our service. We will definitely recommend A1 Affordable to our friends and family for future use!
