I paid $275.00 on 3-21-24 to get a wheel put back into its place. Literally took 5-10 minutes. I had no problems paying that because they were here earlier than expected and the gate was fixed. So, I thought. The week after the same wheel came off again. I Was told that the gate was opened too many times and I would need to pay and get something else done to fix it again. Should’ve told me that the first time and I would’ve saved $275.00. Not happy

Had an issue with my opener that you guys put in a couple years ago. I’m out in Michigan so I couldn’t get a tech out here to look at it as it’s about a 10 hour drive. Talked to Mitch over the phone and he walked me through how to fix it. Need you guys to open a location here!

All I can saw is WOW My garage door spring was loose, causing the door to be stuck. I called two other companies- no one called me back all day Luckily a friend suggested Garage Door Gurus. I called at 5pm on a Saturday and got someone that cared. Not only did he have Denny out to my house that night…Denny called to let me know when he was arriving, came with a smile and fixed the door to perfection at 9pm on a Saturday night Couldn’t be happier….will only be calling these guys going forward

So my girlfriend had to put her cat that she has had for almost 12 years down today, was not paying attention and backed into the garage door. She called the number on the wall over the garage door opener because we believed they would be the obvious choice since their sticker was on the wall. Garage guru’s sent out a young man who looked at the damage and made the assessment in less than a minute that he couldn’t fix it and recommended their new product that would only cost $2900. Told the guy it wasn’t a good time for this and just needed to close the garage door for now. That cost me $200 to have done but if I bought the new door they would deduct that $200 from the price of the new door! Seriously? I told you what was going on and you saw the garage door was stuck in an open position so you manufacture this ridiculous price of $200 to pull the door down for us? Needless to say I let him pull the door down and after 7 mins it was down and locked but I feel that you basically made that price up off the top of your head and then you continued to go on about the new door even after I told you I needed to get back in the house to comfort my girlfriend. Even if we do get a new door would never call these guys! At $200 an hour I’m in the wrong line of work! The owner then responds to my review after two months to justify the price and his overhead cost. Just so everyone knows I got the door fixed with the help of a neighbor and it works just fine with a slight scuff. Didn’t need an entire new door for almost 3 grand like the “expert” advised me. The cost to fix it was a beer and some time! Thanks no thanks Garage Guru! Still an overpriced ripoff!!

Very happy with the service. I used Garage Door Guru in 2020 to replace the garage door opener that was fried during a power surge. They did a great job at a fair price. I used them again today when the garage door wouldn’t close. Carlos fixed the problem in 2 minutes and explained that the door sounded terrible and needed maintenance. I didn’t realize there was something wrong. The fee was very reasonable. My garage door opens and closes properly and sounds a lot better. I’m sure my neighbors will appreciate this. Highly recommend.
