STAY AWAY

Bare Snow & Landscaping 6 years agoPaid $200.00 for annual contract to plow my driveway. Started out pretty poor but after a couple phone calls with the owner he got it straightened out and did a great job. I will rehire him next year.

Ritz Garage Door Solutions 11 months agoWhen I booked my service, the person on the phone said they were running a special for $69 to show up and diagnose, and then I’d get $50 off the quoted repair cost. The repair guy told me the fix was $100 to replace one screw. I went ahead with the repair because I had already spent the $69 and didn’t want to have to deal with another house call. After the repair, the repairman told me he had never heard of the special or $50 off, and demanded the full $100. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, it seems like there’s miscommunication going on between the guys who answer the phones and the repair guys. At worst, there’s a deceptive business practice going on. Either way, I got screwed out of $50. They were prompt and fixed my problem, so they get an extra star, but the whole thing seemed pretty messed up.
