The job involved replacing the bottom section of 2 garage doors. The sales rep was helpful and informative. He actually came to the house to survey the issue. Because it was not an exact replacement, the lap joint of the section immediately above the bottom needed to be modified, The sales rep suggested routing out excess material in that section in order to accommodate the new bottom one. The repair person showed up on time on the agreed upon date. He however used a Skilsaw to free-hand the cuts, which resulted in a jagged lap. I would have preferred a router cut with an appropriately set up guide to obtain a cleaner lap joint, per the sales rep’s suggestion. All in all, the final result is OK.
