Great service! Highly recommend. They are fast, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I had asked for recommendations on a Facebook local area group and Door Masters had the most recommendations and I know why. I left a message late on a Thursday. They called me back Friday and were at my home on Monday to talk, measure and give me the estimate. Within a few weeks I had a new garage door that is quiet, looks great and works beautifully. Couldn’t ask for better service!!

I called Door Masters because my garage door spring broke. It was old and needed to be replaced. I was so impressed with the lady on the phone gave me a straight forward quote of exactly (with tax) how much it was gonna be. Other places I called gave me the run around of “we will have to see when we get there”. Not only that but they actually came and fixed it that same day! Joe S. Showed up and had it fixed within an hour. I’m a local resident of Bradley and I will recommend them to everyone I know.

Sam just came by to exchange my garage door opener as there was an issue with the original new one that I purchased. I am so impressed by the quality of work. Impressed by the promptness when showing up for the appointment. Sam would not leave until he was 100 percent sure that the garage door opener worked properly and was connected to the WiFi and the My Q app. Thank you for all you have done for me as a client!!

I recently bought a home with a standalone garage that turned out to have low headroom. I did not know that at the time. It had a garage door but no automatic opener so I bought one from Lowe’s along with their installation service. The independent installer who showed up started off by telling me I was missing a bracket to attach the new opener to the door (I wasn’t – it comes in the box), and that there were various thing wrong with my garage – none of which was low head room – which he would graciously only charge me an additional $250 to install and fix. And hey – don’t call Lowe’s back, just cancel with them and pay him the installation fee. The next installer would install the opener but he was concerned that there wasn’t enough headroom. He wanted me to see about notching out the trusses to make room for the bar. A carpenter promptly told me that was extremely ill advised. I then contacted 2 garage door companies. One was DoorMasters and I left a message. The other set an appointment for the next day, but told me that with low head room I could always do a side Jack garage door. FYI those are $800 online! When they got there the next day they looked at the garage and said that it was low but they thought they could do it. That one option was a side Jack – I said well those are like $800 right? Well no, they charge $1800. But ‘unfortunately’ I couldn’t do that with the springs in my garage. However, if I would just move the electrical line and box above the trusses, they could do a regular installation for $500 using their own opener. At this point I frankly thought I wasn’t going to have a garage door opener. Then DoorMasters called back and said they could come by and look at it that afternoon. I figured why not, it would at least be interesting to see what else someone would tell me. When Jack and Tony got there they immediately said oh, this is no problem! It’s a little difficult but we can do it, just a bit more work. They quoted me a price close to what Lowe’s originally charged me and installed the opener I already purchased. They did note one item that the first installer said needed to be fixed and said they could fix it for a nominal charge (the cost of the angle iron). I mentioned I bought angle iron because I thought I might have to replace it and they used mine instead of charging me. They also corrected a mistake the person who originally installed the garage door made. As for the electrical – they just put the unit in slightly to the side of the box – literally like an inch or so. The door is perfect and works like a dream. I cannot recommend DoorMasters highly enough. And thank you Jack and Tony, you are awesome!

We had the best tech(Joe S.).We were very impressed with his work our ancient motor went out we are so glad he was able to offer us a choice of also installing a key pad(love it)! We definitely would use y’all again thank you Joe your the best

I was recommended to door masters by my buddy from Bourbonnais that owns his own painting company . He said I wouldn’t be disappointed! He was right Doormasters do the right and on time and customer service from the first time I stopped in until the job was complete was first class ! Mr Jack installed my door and the the owner of the company did all the trim replacements on our home with his assistant! It looks brand new and perhaps I could have saved a little money with another company but my dad alway said if you can afford it get the best you can ! So glad we did ! Thought it was a cable turns out it was the main spring. Called in the morning they were here early afternoon and had problem fixed in about an hour. Thank you so much. Technician was awsome
