Horrible experience, tech lied and didn’t even try to fix my opener. He created a bogus $1800 estimate to replace my door components.Had my local company company come out and they fixed the opener in 5 mins. Do not use or trust this company or tech! Tech gave me no options on the garage door opener which is why they were assigned to come out. BTW this is the 2nd time they came out and provided a quote that was 4 times what my local company quoted/charged!

I recently had service from “A1” or “Diamond Garage Doors”and now I feel like they totally took advantage of my ignorance for the type of repair they made. So I had a broken spring on my garage door and i went through my warranty company to have it repaired. Tech came out I paid the service call fee. Turns out that I had to replace both springs, (1) which was covered by the warranty and the other I had to pay for which was reasonable. I agreed to pay for the spring which had not broken yet because every write up said to address springs ňas a couple. So at this point the tech explains that there is an additional fee an “alignment fee” ($229.00), It didn’t sound right but because of ignorance I trusted the tech and let him proceed. It’s been a few days now since I had the garage door repaired and in speaking to 2 of my neighbors I realized that the alignment fee was bogus. It was nothing more than installation of the springs. I’m so upset considering the price for this so called “alignment” was NOT a modification as they described it to my warranty company. A1 charged me an additional 229.00 for this bogus service. I’m obviously out the money but I hope this review reaches someone who won’t be taken advantage like I was.

Communication from the vendor was excellent! They contacted me via text with my scheduled appointment date and timeframe. I confirmed and the tech showed up and handled the garage door repair. Technician was very knowledgeable and thorough. I like the check sheet sent to after the appointment, gives me a report on how my equipment is working and any concerns. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family!

Door was repaired for a broken spring last week. Very first time opening door after the repair, it comes off the track and can’t close/open it. Have to wait several more days for a return appointment. Now it’s something “unrelated” and shelling out a lot more $$$. The side of the door they fixed is what came undone. Stand by your work!!
