Great customer service. I Had no idea what was going on with the garage door this morning after standard troubleshooting. Called 1st Choice Garage Doors and they were able to get someone out an hour later. John identified the issue right away as a broken spring. Got it all fixed and up and running in no time. He even adjusted the track and pushed back a door panel that i had hit while backing out. Appreciate it and will be back for any future garage door needs. 100% recommend.

Suddenly my garage door would not close, it was stuck open. This happened on a Saturday morning. I called 1st Choice Garage Doors and they called and told me they could arrive at my home in 45 minutes. Dustin arrived in a timely manner and by the time he knocked on my door, he had already fixed the problem. Something bumped one of my garage door sensors and they were out of alignment making the system believe something was blocking the area for the garage door to come down. He could have charged me the fee for just coming out, but he told me he would not charge me for that. I told him I greatly appreciated that, they did not have to do that! He could have charged. I told him that I would be using them from now on and will tell others about them! On top of that, I couldn’t open my side garage door and he was able to notice that a new paint job on that area was what was keeping it shut and he worked that loose. So now I’m able to use my side garage door. I offered him money for his trouble and he wouldn’t take it. So if you are seeking an honest and helpful repair Garage Service, which is rare these days to find someone with good integrity. Please support and give them a call.

OMG! We had a power outage and my garage door was up I heard a loud bang my garage door had fallen down and ultimately broke the spring. I called first choice garage doors office and they were on a job near my home and told me that they could be here in an hour and a half to two hours. They were very prompt, efficient and very friendly. They had my garage door working better than it ever has in about 30 minutes. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants a new garage door or an old one repaired!

My garage door spring and hinge broke a couple of weeks ago and used Google to search for a local company to give an estimate. 1st Choice Garage Door was glaring at me with a solid 5 star rating. I was a bit skeptical at first, but there were nearly 120 reviews, so I gave them a call. John showed up the next day and gave me an estimate that was much less than I had anticipated. He had to order the door and they had my new door installed the next week. The installers were very prompt and professional and did a great job. Removed the old door and had the new one installed in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Very happy to add mine to your growing list of 5 star reviews and would definitely recommend your company to anyone needing garage door work. Also, I forgot to mention that I told them I had been having issues with the door going all the way up without holding the button until it was all the way up, and instead of trying to sell me a new $600 motor, they did an adjustment on my motor and it’s now working fine. Highly recommended.

I heard about 1st Choice Garage Door from a friend and I’m glad I called them. Chad the technician called me back to say he would be at my home in 20 minutes he came and he serviced my door he was very professional. The best thing was the kindness he showed me. He did the work and he gave good advice. They are right in Prattville and they very reasonable with their prices. Call them you want be sorry.
