We purchased a home with a Durango door we had a small issue but when we called them they were very courteous and Heather made sure we were taken care of! They made sure we were satisfied with their crew and the workmanship! The door is absolutely gorgeous one of my favorite things about my house actually! Highly recommend!

Update: The service I received from BJ WIlliam Johnson is bar to none. He’s the one that handles all the service issues and he done a fantastic job!!!! I had some issues with the door with the new contruction and he went beyond to resolve my issues. He exemplifies customer service and just wanted to recognize him for his superior customer service. He always answers your emails and is always willing to make it right no matter what it takes. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND DURANGO DOORS. One of the best customer service I’ve received so far in CTX. Thanks BJ for all that you do!!!!! You are greatly appreicated.!!!!! Durango door is great. You can always tell a company by what kind of customer service they provide after one encounters a problem. They are not perfect but they do provide excellent customer service now. It wasn’t in the past but it seem like they hired the right people now. I had some issues with this door for about a year now. Previously they were very slow and often delayed taking care of any issues in hand but this changed. I want to recognize BJ in warranty and Josh the project manager. BJ was able to schedule my warranty claim within 2 weeks of time and was able to send Josh to my house since he realized that I had an ongoing issue. Josh was courteous honest and responsible. He was able to fix my issue and even came back a week later to make sure that issue was taken care of. What surprised me was that he called me few days later after the big storm we had in ctx and wanted to verify that everything was good. That’s customer service. He also informed me that if I have any issues at all give him a call and he’ll take care of any issues. Thank you BJ and Josh you exemplify pinnacle of customer service. Kudos to you.

My experience was wonderful during the sales process. Durango was eager and responsive and worked well with our architect to design our windows. Once the deposit of 50% was made (a project exceeding 80K), the windows and doors were delayed in production by 16 weeks which delayed the construction of our home. Install was another great and long-awaited experience. Within a week of moving into our home, we detected several leaks and contacted warranty and they came out to take a look, but 4 weeks later, we have not had a resolution. A single glass pane in the front door is a different color and we were told it would be replaced nearly 5 weeks ago. I called today and the glass is in stock but no one ever called to schedule install. It has just been sitting there. Lastly, I understand windows will get dirty during construction and will need a final and professional clean. My assumption is that Durango custom doors and windows would be installed either on a newly constructed home or a renovation, warranting a final clean in most cases. My mistake was in the assumption and not clarifying with sales that this needed to be discussed and added to the final cost of my purchase. I was told by a representative that they schedule a final clean directly with the builder, however my builder was never contacted. The windows and doors totaling 9 large units, now needing a final finish, will cost $2000 out-of-pocket. The team at Durango is currently responsive at their own pace, but my requests definitely are not warmly received.I have seen beautiful work from this company and have referred them to many clients over the years as I work in the new homes industry. Sadly, that wasn’t our experience.

Disappointed and Frustrated: Warranty and Quality Issues I am deeply disappointed with the service and quality of the windows provided by Durango Doors and Windows. We chose them for their amazing look and 10-year glass warranty, trusting it as a testament to their quality and customer care. However, our recent experience has been anything but satisfactory. The major issue began with our windows consistently fogging and failing, a clear sign of defects. When we recently reached out for support, expecting the 10-year warranty to cover these defects, we were met with a shocking and unacceptable response. The company refused to honor their original 10-year warranty, as now their new policy only offering a mere 2-year warranty instead. This abrupt change in warranty policy and the company’s refusal to address our legitimate concerns speaks volumes about their reliability and customer service ethics. It’s disheartening to see a company not standing by their product or their word, leaving customers to deal with the consequences of their substandard products. I regret choosing Durango and caution potential customers to reconsider before making a commitment to them. The lack of accountability and support is a major red flag. It’s critical for a company to stand behind their products and honor their commitments, something that Durango current management has failed to do.
