I am writing this review as a deeply concerned and disappointed customer. As a woman, I find it important to share my experience to protect others from similar situations. Recently, after placing an order with Door Outlet, I received incorrect and/or poorly manufactured items. While going through attempts to rectify, I was sent up to Don (the owner?) and in a normal text conversation trying to find out a timeline, there was a delay for a”spider bite”. In a check in follow up, he, the business owner sent me inappropriate and unsolicited photos of his body, allegedly to show the spider bite. This behavior is completely unacceptable and horrifying, especially considering that I have never met this person in any capacity. No matter who agrees or disagrees as to the items purchased and the disgruntled nature that I as a customer may have felt, this photo incident is a severe breach of professional conduct and decency. No customer should ever be subjected to such inappropriate behavior. I strongly urge Door Outlet to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure that their communication practices are respectful and professional at all times. I hope this review serves as a warning to others and a wake-up call for them to implement strict guidelines and training on appropriate customer interactions.

Know exactly what you need especially their trims. It’s basically trims and in their receipts it states special orders are non refundable. These trims are not special order of any kind and yet they refuse to take back as they said they don’t know conditions of it which it’s still wrapped in their bundle. Now I known not to shop here unless it’s a must. Now I have lots of trims and can’t return although the staff never states that I can’t return it. Even receipts does not states I can’t return it.

I did not actually purchase doors yet, but did work with them to get some quotes. I originally talked with Arthur. Great customer service. Thorough, immediately sent pictures I requested of available products, and followed up with me. When I went into the store to look in person about 2 weeks later, I spoke with Nick. He wrote up a quote and told me he would email me right away with additional prices I requested, but 5 days later, I’ve never heard from him again, even after I sent him an email to follow up. I reached out to Arthur again and he was amazing. Instantly got me all the information I needed, answered questions, and consistent, prompt, proactive follow through every single time. He made it easy. Door Outlet had good prices and I would totally ask for Arthur if you want a great customer service experience. 5-stars for Arthur, 1-star for Nick, so ask for Arthur.

Door Outlet was one of the best experiences we had during our home project. They came recommended us and upon arriving at the warehouse, we were immediately greeted and helped by Stephen. He was super patient, answered all our questions, and was very communicative during and after our pitch. Their warehouse has tons of choices at a variety of prices – when we finally made up our minds they accommodated our budget and our delivery timing. All in all, a great experience and would highly recommend

I got to pause and say how great it was working with door outlet. They have great prices but the quality and customer service is exceptional. We had a major renovation on our house and they helped us and delivered custom doors on time for what we needed. Thank you again Alfredo and team!

**Update**Good customer service. Arthur was very helpful and pleasant from initial email contact and my visit to the shop, through installation. There was a mistake made on our part where we ordered one of the doors with the wrong handing. A big “Oops!” Arthur was able to arange that it could be fixed and didn’t charge me for a whole new prehung door only the flipping of the hinges, etc. Good news for my client, me and the contractor. It saved us time and money. My experience so far has been very good. Returned my message and answered questions promptly. Had a quote within a couple of hours, seems priced well, with seemingly quick turnaround of 1wk for solid core, 2 panel Shaker style pre-hung doors that are pre-primed. (5) standard sized, (1) 18″, (1) 36″ slab for a pocket door and (4) slabs for bypass sliding doors and new tracks. Choice between 2 colors of hinges are included. I’ll update once we have delivery!

Wrote a review several months ago and looking back I wish I hadn’t spread negative information about my experience. Thank you for building a custom door for my home and it has held up well over time. 4/5 stars.

Amazing!!!! I had a door emergency. Another contractor did a bad job on my door and I didn’t have a locking door for 3 days. I called them and they gave me the name of a good contractor to call, to help me and then fit in the framing of my door at a moments notice. THANK YOU THANK YOU IM so so grateful. Door fits beautifully!!!!
