i was a welder for alpine for a little while and I just wanna come on here to give you some insight . If you think about working here do not do it. You will seriously hate your life with the 25 minute lunch breaks , if your not early to your shift your considered “late”, stick welding on such thin metal because they’re so cheap causing you to blow holes all the time , having the engineers make incorrect programs and realizing after you finish the work (which btw they never get in trouble for but god forbid the shop workers make a mistake it’s almost time for a replacement), having a “quality control sheet” which actually slowed down work and they only used it to see quantity, the inspector not telling you your errors directly and never complimenting your work that is good, horrible ventilation, welding section right by a paint oven which makes it insufferably hot. They will try and play you with your holidays “paid holidays” you gotta work the Saturday prior if you want that pay. And the most important is the pay per hour. You will not start at more then 18 an hour no matter your experience level. It would take you around 6 years to make even DECENT $$ while the office people are making bank. For $17 an hour there should not be this much expectation it’s actually comical. Do better alpine. Pay your hard working welders what they deserve and maybe people will start to take you seriously.

ive worked with these guys on and off for years as i dont to many roll ups. everything has usually gone pretty smooth and the weight to price cant be beat

Do not recommend! Probably the worst manufacture I have dealt with in my 25+ years in the door industry. Took over a month for them to process the order (sent PO# to proceed to order on 6/22 but didn’t get processed till 8/1 because of all the hoops to jump thru) and then when finally ordered, was told it would take four months to get doors when originally told about 10 weeks lead time when first quoted doors. Top it off, I still have not heard a delivery date so I can schedule install/rental equipment/etc. and give the general contractor a date. FIND ANOTHER MANUFACTURE IF YOU WANT A DOOR IN A TIMELY FASHION AND GOOD COMMUNICATION! They can email you every four days asking for an update if the quote is a go but once it’s a go, all you get is crickets if you need info!

If I could do less then a 1 star I would. Save yourself a lot of trouble and find another company. Do not try to order product from this company and expect to get what you ordered. I sent them photos and part numbers of the exact product they made for us 7 years ago that we wanted to duplicate. Apparently there are no mangers or quality control. After waiting several weeks they sent us the wrong product with horrible lock system to protect our Motorcycle business. Numerous emails and phone calls to the manager John Smith and there is no resolution to fix our problem. As a small business owner I couldn’t be more disappointed in the product and customer service. BBB will get my next complaint. Anyone that would love to hear from me personally please feel free to look us up in Raynham MA and give me a call. I’d love to tell you how disappointed you’ll be as well.

Very intelligent designers and great customer service. My doors from them are always in and trouble free.
