Greenstone 2 weeks agoWe’re confident select Greenstone Homes employees are engaged in a cover-up regarding our issue, & the cover-up headed at the direction of Greenstone’s Building & Division Manager, Drew Benado. This review surrounds Drew’s dishonesty regarding the availability of a black cabinet sample of which 2-differing color samples (black & brown) were offered of the same name titled “Ridgestone-Oak”. Our new home was completed in March 2024, with design choices solidified in August 2023. Drew Benado untruthfully insists that the 2-brown “Ridgestone-Oak” cabinet samples currently offered at Greenstone’s River District Design Center are the only samples ever offered. This is an outright falsehood; either he himself replaced the once offered black sample with another brown shortly following our dispute initiation, or a Greenstone Homes employee was directed to pull the black. This is evidenced by… 1. Our possession of numerous photos captured of all design choices made back in August 2023, back labels included, & of which the disputed black cabinet sample differs from what’s currently being offered. 2. Greenstone’s Sales/Project Manager/Broker’s email addressed to their Designer explaining being at our home prior to its closing with their Superintendent/Customer Service Representative acknowledging the cabinet sample he was in possession of & taking pictures of next to what was installed doesn’t look the same, is very dark, & looks almost painted in color, further suggesting she meet them. 3. And finally, our Realtor’s testimony to Drew Benado that a black sample was an option & chosen, of his presence during our design selection appointment, his conversation with their Designer specifically related to the black color sample, & an email confirming. We became aware of Drew Benado’s cover-up attempt when Greenstone’s Superintendent/Customer Service Representative brought with him to a collective Huntwood Custom Cabinets meeting (of which were were told was initiated to determine which company was to fix the error) their newly replaced brown color sample; NOT the disputed black sample. Pictures of this brown sample were taken next to the incorrectly installed brown cabinets DESPITE our stating it was the incorrect sample brought for comparison. We now know why… These pictures are what Drew Benado’s using to support his claim & close our case, stating the color variations are slight & within range. It’s worth noting (& this is important) that prior to this collective Greenstone Homes/Hunter Custom Cabinets picture-capturing moment, the Greenstone’s Superintendent/Customer Service Representative had in his possession at our home prior to its closing the disputed black cabinet sample. He acknowledged the distinct color discrepancy, & further added he’d recommend it be pulled from their Design Center due to it not being representative of what was installed, adding “Greenstone would make things right.” We get the all of a sudden refusal of Greenstone employees to engage in this topic; Drew Benado’s their boss, & they’ve been instructed not to. We’ve yet to hear from any of Drew’s superiors. To conclude, we are beyond appalled & astounded at the treatment. We had not asked that Greenstone Homes replace the cabinets; that seemed costly. We simply asked that they brush a darker stain onto the exposed areas to replicate as close as possible the original black sample offered & chosen, & at a time convenient for them. Greenstone Homes’ Building & Division Manager Drew Benado’s cover-up attempt & outright deception trail months following closing is the most disturbing factor of all. It’s soured greatly our home-build experience & our view of the company & many of its employees whom we were initially fond of. Posting of our experience on review sites, a BBB filing, & small claims court preparations are our only recourse to help warn others of this Greenstone Homes business practice. If they choose to right their wrong, we’ll update our reports & reviews. Photos attached.

Columbia Basin Exteriors 9 months agoHomeowners Beware! Get EVERYTHING in writing!! My experience with CBX Roofs can be summed up in 1 word “DISASTER”. CBX is disorganized and lacked quality in their work, particularly when it came to detail, which included my house siding, windows, and the refinishing of my deck. It’s frustrating when a contractor is unable to get the job done right the first time and must repeatedly order materials, causing unnecessary delays and inconvenience for me as the homeowner. My home during the spring and summer of 2023 was a never-ending construction zone. I signed up with them in September of 2022. They came to my home in November and replaced the roof. The came in February and measured the siding of my home 3 different times. Which is why I found it surprising that they were unable to order the right number of materials, no 1 time, not 2 times but 3 times!!! The first time they just didn’t have enough to finish the entire back of my home. The second time they ordered enough to complete just the back but did not have enough to finish the east side they had started initially. CBX was able to complete my neighbor’s home in just under 3 weeks, while it took them over three months to get close to completing my home. Such a significant discrepancy in timeline raises questions about their efficiency and prioritization of projects and quality. They damaged areas of my home’s trim. To this date they have not replied to my inquiry. I find it unacceptable, and it shows a lack of care and professionalism on the part of CBX Roofs. They should take full responsibility for any damages caused during their work. Based on my experience, CBX Roofs did not meet the standards of a reliable and efficient contractor. I did ask and did receive a small discount. The discount was just not charging me for the work that was supposed to have been performed on my deck. I would have much rather had my home finished in a timely manner (all of it). I have had to find another contractor to paint the trim of the windows replaced because CBX stated they don’t do that sort of work? They painted my deck (horribly) as well as the neighbors window trim?? I checked in with the family I referred that isn’t my neighbor and they are still awaiting on CBX to complete their work as well. Feel free to reach out to me for additional information if needed. I have video and pictures of this entire project end to end (except for the back of the house where they cut the wires towards the end of May. They started the work in March and didn’t finish until August. My advice when looking to use CBX would be to do your homework. I would never recommend them. Their response to this posting will show you just how “important” their customers are. Good Luck!
