The owner drove over an hour, at night, with ice on the roads to make sure I was taken care of. Easy to work with and was very accommodating throughout the entire process.

First I can start off by saying that the owner Jonathan is completely unresponsive and extremely unprofessional. Initially, when I inquired about a leak in my bathroom he was extremely responsive and tended to the situation. Gave me all the stories on how he would guarantee the insurance company pays him or he’s going to sue them blah blah blah. They got the water and mold out of my ceiling and then cut a huge hole where the mold was forming. After my insurance company declared it wasn’t a roofing issue I was prepared to pay this company whatever needed to be done to get it fixed and remodeled. When I reached out to him to get a quote done on the repairs no response…I texted and left voicemails…no response. This has been going on for a month. I opened my email and there was an invoice for the services performed two months ago. Apparently the owner doesn’t like money or whatever because I was willing to pay. Reached out to another company to get what they cut out to be replaced…I wouldn’t recommend them for fixing anything in anyone’s house. Rude and unresponsive. Pick another company that keeps their customers happy.

We used them after hurricane Ian in SWFL, they presented well and using the VET and firefighters as status ,don’t let that fool you .First they didn’t finish the job up to the contract which was very simple and black and white and then threatened to put a lean on the house.(a bully move) .We had to hire additional specialist to complete the items that’s where in the contact ie: remove ALL COUNTER TOPS , which they did not. remove ALL FLOORING which they did not . even had to remove drywall ourself after they were paid, it still had a100% moisture reading. They were to worried about collecting final payment which wasn’t a problem had they done the job as the contract specified…the forman was great but ended up quitting ( issue with company ethics) .So by the time it is all said and done we paid additional cost and did work ourselve, this poorley run outfit… it is a shameful that in the time of need after a disaster they pray on the elderly under that name…..UNACCEPTABLE

Good hard working employees. They will come out and do it all from drying out your structure to making sure your repairs are being taken care of. They will work hand in hand with your insurance to take as much stress off of you as possible.

We had a water leak in an inside wall. America Veterans Restoration was able to dry out the area before they could remove the damaged wood flooring and drywall. They installed need wood flooring and sanded and stained our remaining flooring to match. My floors look beautiful!

They left my home still wet after hurricane damage. A year later I’m still dealing with this. We have a home in Alabama that they completely destroyed and they assured that it was common for this work to happen this way. After many calls and being completely ignored by the owner, I now have a lawyer and a pending lawsuit. We were lied to every step of the way, but thankfully Servpro has come to save the day and are remediation the mold damage in my home.

American Veterans Restoration was wonderful! Jonathan was always professional, highly responsive, was on the job sight everyday to manage and supervise the work, and the men he has working for him are courteous, keep a clean job sight, and they’re always willing to help if you have questions. The roof is beautiful- a job very well done! I I would definitely use again for roof repair and/or restoration. I highly recommend AVR!

*****NEW REVIEW: Sad to say this, but I have had a change of heart regarding this company. The truth is my home owners insurance covered my roof repairs while I was out of the state working two years ago. It did not cost me anything out of pocket, so I did not care to look at the fine print of what they charged. I was just happy with the finished product because it allowed me to then quickly sell my home. The brand new roof attracted a host of buyers. Fast forward to my parents home flooding last year. I recommended this company. I have never regretted a decision so much. Moral of the story…. if you tell them that you have flood insurance, Buyer Beware. They will run up a tab so high that even your adjuster will call you out of concern. The charges were outrageous! Not to mention that they left holes in the walls, the outlets spaces were not cut properly, and the kitchen counter granite was cracked. If that was not enough, he wanted to be paid for other work that he did not do. He listed rooms that were never even touched by his team. We had to hire another company to come in and repair their damage. Needless to say this particular situation had to go to litigation. We are blessed that this nightmare has ended and that we can move forward. I am updating my review because I do not want someone to select this company because of me. Do not sign anything! Instead request an estimate of the work you want done. Make sure that you agree on the numbers before they start the work. I know this maybe hard to do when you have two feet of standing water in your home. Do your due diligence! If this helps at least one person, the update was worth my time.***** OLD REVIEW: Below is my review from two years ago. I was in the process of selling my home as is. All the offers I was getting were way below my asking price because of the roof damage inside and out. My roof was damaged by wind and hail and it scared potential buyers. AMERICAN VETERANS RESTORATION was a joy to work with throughout the process. Jonathan was very knowledgeable, honest, and polite. He answered every question thoroughly. I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. My house with the new roof was under contract above my asking price within a week of me putting it back on the market. I would give five stars, if they happily took credit cards. However, I understand that many small business don’t because of the credit card fees they have to pay on the back end. Despite that minor thing, I still highly recommend them as a service provider!
