We had issues with mold growing on an interior wall. After contacting this company, we thought they would get the job done correctly. WRONG. The company sprayed and took down drywall on a 13×13 foot wall which cost over $5,000 which we paid faithfully. We paid for the “fix” that was supposed to take care of the ventilation issue that caused the mold, and it was done incorrectly. I was told the bath could be vented 1 of 2 ways. We chose one of his options to vent through an attic vent, and it was done incorrectly. We had to pay an electrician and roofer which cost us around $3,000 additional costs to have it fixed up to code. After using the shower in the “fixed” bathroom, with a complete steam bath, we realized there was a problem. This company placed tubing for ventilation right up against the trusses and did not vent the area to the outside which was not to code. I was promised it was vented correctly. The owner was inappropriate in coming into our bedroom and sits on the bed of my resting partner after surgery. Additionally, the company left a hole from a hammer head dropped in our bathroom wall that wasn’t disclosed to us until we saw it and had to have it repaired from a painter for additional cost. No pictures of the work inside the wall were ever provided. The work was never inspected by Tom from the attic level. The carpets were left a mess because no drop cloths of any kind were used or booties to cover the feet of workers. The owner is trying to charge us for spraying an area that was covered in the first bill (limited attic space), and for the incorrectly installed vent. After paying over $5,000 the owner is continually harassing us by sending us a bill every few weeks for $900 …. even though his math on the bill would add up to $575, which was never signed or agreed upon. We had to pay over $3,000 more to get the work done correctly! My attorney has advised me not to pay another dime.

I had mold growing on my basement wall so I scheduled a consult with Tom and he came out the very next day. He was able to identify the cause and quickly remedy the issue! He also gave me great tips on how to avoid similar issues in the future! I cannot recommend Tom and his team enough!

As a Realtor you need someone you trust to help keep a transaction together. Tom and WeGet the Mold Out helped when mold was growing like a stalactite from the basement ceiling. Very Strange and gross! He got the home sealed and cleaned and sent the suspect biological grow on its merry way.. Way to save the deal. LIsa G

I had a lengthy phone call with Tom, expressing my concern numerous times that I am concerned with moisture levels in the basement / ground level of a home my fiance and I put on a contigent offer in on. I told him bottom line that we needed a test to see what the air quality was like since the moisture meter was going off the charts on the home inspection, and to see if it was safe for my family to breathe or not. Everything online that I’ve researched, along with talking with other mold mitigation experts, have all said you need an airborne mold test with air samples inside the home as well as outside to act as a “baseline” for the indoor results. The test tooks multiple days longer than expected to receive back (it is a holiday week, but again all other companies I have talked to stated they were sending out samples after and receiving them back before we got ours). So this already puts a tight timeline with offer deadlines. Before we even get the results I get an email stating how he would need $650 more dollars for additional tests. This is in conjunction with receiving a test back that is not in the scope of what was requested (the scope we wanted was checking the air quality. And giving us some sort of directive on course of action). What we received was a swab test taken from the wall and a request for $650 for additional inspecting. I have reached out numerous times asking what exactly I paid for with no responses. With my fiance and I getting married at the same time we don’t have the money to waste, and we are essentially 1.5 weeks set back from where we could have been if someone had come out and done the correct Airborne mold test that was originally requested and alluded to.

My doctor recommended this company for mold testing. The owner of the company came out and looked around my house. He talked me into just doing a deep cleaning of the house for $2500 that included painting and caulking a couple spots of water stains, running air purifiers, and cleaning the a/c coils in my HVAC unit. This was instead of doing mold testing to find out what is causing my sinus and eye symptoms. He was so sure that dust was causing my issues without really knowing for sure. I was trusting in his judgment as he is supposed to be the professional. After the job was done I gave it a couple months to see if my symptoms would improve-they did not. I told him this and he tells me we can do mold testing for $295. I asked him why we didn’t do this in the first place? I have yet to receive a response from him and it’s been months. Nothing ever got resolved and I still have no answers as to what is causing my symptoms. I’m giving 2 stars because most of the work that was said to be done was done, but I’m not actually pleased with the outcome I was promised because nothing was resolved. I feel like I wasted $2500.

They’re experts at what they do. We appreciate the flexibility in rescheduling for our convenience. Tom promptly replies to any inquiries and provided detailed guidance on what to expect before, during, and after. He is very personable and friendly. The whole attick looks so much better now than before.
