We have moved dozens of times over the last 38 years, and we’ve never seen a company that is more responsive, more professional, more empathetic, and appropriately priced than what Brian Murphy has created and brought to the marketplace. We recently found ourselves in a situation where my father-in-law died and then my mother-in-law became unable to live alone, so we turned to the immediate task of preparing the family home of 61 years for sale. We simply could not have achieved what has happened in just 5 weeks without Brian and his crew, especially since we live 3 hours away at the coast. When we began to empty the house in March, we discovered black mold in one part of the house and knew we needed professionals to remediate, restore, and prevent as part of making the house right. Brian was amazing from the first engagement as he immediately did a site review and generated an initial quote within 24 hours after initial contact. As Brian and his crew went to work, he exhibited a strong communication rhythm matched clear, concise reporting style. As we shared what we were working to achieve, Brian became our on-the-ground problem solver. As it turned out, we first engaged Mold Patrol to remediate black mold. When it was all said and done, Brian and his crew took care of so much more – they replaced carpet in two of the rooms, they painted the interior throughout, pressure-washed the exterior, moved and carefully stacked an entire attic’s worth of 61 years of stuff in the detached workshop, replaced the dry wall in the pantry along with improving the shelving, replaced an external screen door threshold…the list goes on and on. When we did a final walkthrough this past weekend, Brian proudly walked us through. My mother-in-law was able to see the outcome and was blown away by her own home! And then, just when we thought it was all over, Brian called the next day to share a stackable washer-dryer he had seen for sale in Guilford County on Facebook Marketplace (he knew we needed a new one as part of staging the home for sale). The lead was amazing and further he offered to go to Greensboro to pick up the washer-dryer on our behalf, complete the transaction, transport back to Burlington, and then install the unit for us. We were quite frankly blown away! Where we live at the coast, it would have taken 6 months to find contractors, get quotes, and then finally get people just to show up. Brian got it done in less than 5 weeks, and did it in style. Brian and his team did a good job of clean up at our home. We had mold due to humidity over time. The ducts were cleaned as well, leaving the house smelling clean. Shout out to Smitty for her hard work.

Brian and his team did great work in our crawl space and basement. They turned it into a functional space as we intended. We had changes to the scope of our project along the way and were always informed of the what and why behind it. They also cleaned out and rebuilt the base of our kitchen sink cabinet that was water damaged.

These guys are awesome! I contacted them at short notice, Brian responded and made an effort to view my property same day and give me a quote, his team was out that week and doing the work required. (Mold Remediation and new vapor barrier) His team was really polite, respectful of our property and presence. They cleaned up behind them and did the work that was required. Would recommend and would use again

Was very happy dealing with the workers. They were all professionals and did a great done cleaning up my mold and water problems. They returned after a week to check and make sure everything was working properly and that I didn’t have any more water problems. Would highly recommend them. It was a job well done.

Very professional technicians. The owner came personally to inspect and answer all our questions. All of the work was completed in a timely matter. They made sure all debris was cleaned up and hauled off. I recommend Mold Patrol for any crawlspace problems.
