Reno-911 7 months agoLance was hired to update and renovate a master bathroom. The process started off normally and as expected with demo and ordering of supplies. No real issues occurred during the initial renovations. About halfway through Lance got another job and started on that while the bathroom was still unfinished. He would send someone over to work while the other job was starting up, which never should have happened, he should have finished our job first. At this point it seemed like our job was rushed to get done, it seemed like simple processes were getting skipped and the quality of the work suffered. We had issues with the plumbing on the sink/vanity leaking. After several days this finally was resolved. We also had plumbing issues with the shower. Lance addressed this once but the problem remained with a leaking shower. At this point Lance disappeared. He got paid and stopped answering phone calls and texts. In my opinion he left the job unfinished and did not guarantee his work. While he is a nice guy, I would not recommend him to do any work and I feel that his business practices are not honest or ethical. While I am not completely unhappy with the (almost) finished process I am now forced to find someone to finish the job. If you decide to hire Lance and Reno 911 do so at your own risk. Update December 2023: we still never heard back from Lance. We attempted to contact him in the NextDoor app and Facebook, even tagging him in a local group page, only for him to leave said group. All we were asking is for him to send a receipt so we could return the shower hardware to Home Depot. Hopefully anyone attempting to hire him seeks out reviews and can avoid the mistake that I made in hiring him.
