Don’t Waste your time with this company. At first I thought they were great, very responsive and told me what I wanted to hear. The guys who came and started removing that had mold on it were not properly trained. He even admitted that it was his first day and was suppose to be training. Our air vents were stuffed full of wood shaving from subfloor. I watched him vacuum them out, stuffed to the rim! That night I started having HVAC issues, called Joe and he flat out told us it wasn’t their fault and nothing they would do. He also hit a wire, they admitted to that since he was on the job, got fixed no issues. A couple tiles broke in the walk area they brought in all their equipment and never fixed. Just wish they’d take the time to properly train their team and not throw them to the wolves! Everything took forever to get done and always got the run around response. Attempted to use as a contractor and fired after waiting around almost 6 weeks for them to get stuff ordered. They always blamed other people for not having things done. I’d call those people to make sure and they’d tell me this company never sent over paperwork or got a hold of them to order anything! Very frustrating!

I called them at 8:30 in the evening and they were thereat 11:00 p.m. to start the water removal in my basement. Two young men that were very professional and kind met me at my door to calm me down. They left around 4:00 a.m. I would recommend them for your clean up any time. They couldn’t have been more professional. What a relief to have the assurance the job will be done right.

Instead of listing all of the disappointments with a 3 day service that is just now wrapping up after almost 4 months I’ll just take the moral high ground and say…Never Again!

I had a flood at my business, and I was super stressed but Doniella, Brandt, John, and Lon made sure I understood the complete process that needed to be done, and they were there to answer all my questions in a professional but personal manor. Their were so many people working on my flood from Restore of the Heartland to get me back in business. I found everyone I worked with at Restore to be immensely knowledgeable and helpful.

During the great November blizzard of 2018 wind driven snow found its way through roof vents into the attic of our Manhattan, KS rental property. The tenants noticed a problem when the seams of the drywall were visible on the ceiling. ROTH was called on the recommendation of a friend. Doniella was wonderful, she had a crew out within hours to remove the snow and start the drying process. Since the property is a rental there was a lot of coordination spanning several timezones between owner, property manager, tenant and insurance. Doniella coordinated flawlessly! The drying is done and ROTH will be doing the restoration. ROTH is not currently on my insurers list of preferred vendors HOWEVER my insurer was so impressed with their work to date they encouraged the use of their restoration services. We are heading into the restoration phase and I have every confidence in ROTH to complete the job. ROTH’s knowledge, experience, and professionalism definitely stand out. I feel like they treated my property as if it were their own.

A rental property of ours had extensive water damage which turned into major mold issues. Restore of the Heartland located the reasons for the damage and worked with my insurance company and the adjuster to repair the damages. In order to ensure the mold was gone the house was gutted down to the studs. The owner Joe McGraw was always quick to respond to my concerns and reacted quickly dealing with insurance or working through the project. The project manager James Bond had excellent ideas when putting the place back together and was always fun to be around. The finish detail he added was fantastic. They were even available nights and weekends when my schedule wasn’t flexible. Working as a team with them turned this nightmare into a beautiful property.

We had a water pipe break at the office and it took 20 min to find the shut off valve and had several hundred square feet of soaking wet carpet. We called Restore and within an hour they were there with fans and wet and we were back in business shortly thereafter. They were very conscientious and followed up in a couple of days to ensure every thing was dry and no mold was developing. Hope I never need them again but won’t hesitate to call!
