TOP DESIGN CONSTRUCTION LLC. 11 months agoSeems like a nice guys but lacks integrity in his work. He did a nice job installing the flooring in my kitchen, but did not pay attention to detail and now I have to go and fix the wall bases and transition slip on my own. I called and voiced my concerns and he was nice and pleasant but had excuses. He said that he didn’t think wall bases come 5” tall or he couldn’t find them but I found them in two seconds on Amazon. And then we talked about the transition piece being wood via text then spoke on the phone and said that white would be best bc the wood will be hard to match (and the transition piece he picked did not match at all), and when I brought this to his attention he said that over text we said wood and then I had to remind him that over the phone we switched it to white. Now the transition piece looks awful and does not go with the flooring. I am not only paying someone to do the labor but to put in the time, because that is something I don’t have a lot of. I now have to go buy new wall bases and transition piece and do the work myself; let’s add that to the other things I need to do get my place ready to put on the market.

Ron Rushing Construction 4 years agoThis man is dishonest, doesn’t care about the quality of his work, and there is now value in what he says to you. He will have you believing something he’s said or has said he is going to do. Then he will stand and lie and say he didn’t . say that. that.

R&R Home Improvement – Remodeling & Flooring Kansas a month agoR&R renovated our stairs, and we could not be more pleased with the way they came out. We renovated our house from the ground up. The stairs were the last thing that had to be done. I and my wife are very particular individuals and to be frank, are difficult to please. I contacted R&R after researching and calling serval companies who do this type of work (stairs). They have a very high rating and they are also local, both of which I was wanting before going forward. Raul came by to give me an estimate/bid for the work that I was requesting. He listened carefully to everything we were describing and then told us he would need to fabricate everything but the spindles. We wanted end caps on the last 5 stairs, 2 new newel posts, and a new handrail on the top landing along with another handrail running from the bottom to the top of the stairs. We wanted that handrail going up on the left side running from the newel post to the top of the stairs in a continuous run. We wanted the spindles to be hand rubbed bronze in color and solid not hollow. We wanted everything to be fashioned in a square in shape out of red oak. Raul did not ever try to tell us that all that we were asking him to do was not a “good idea” or not possible account it wasn’t available or simply wasn’t done etc. (as another contractor had done). He let us design the stairs we wanted and then he built them. He managed to bring our vision to life within our home. That to me is a craftsman. Alex is also an amazing craftsman as he will not settle for anything less than perfection, he is amazing! We couldn’t be happier with the finished product and are so glad we had R&R do this work for us, It is always money well spent, when you get exactly what you had visualized in your mind brought to life in your home. Just can’t express how pleased we are with their work… Thank you R&R
