Hired by my insurance after water damage. They did the job just fine but crazy expensive for drilling holes in the walls to let it dry. ISSUE 1: Regardless of price, they took my large rug to professionally clean it, which I greatly appreciated, until I never got the rug back. Had to call multiple times to get ahold of someone for them to say it would be delivered ‘today.’ I finally received it 5 days later. ISSUE 2: I paid the bill the same day the invoice was emailed. Almost one month later I just got another reminder invoice saying I have an outstanding balance for the exact same amount. I sent a screen shot that the money was paid from my bank account. I called and not surprisingly can’t get ahold of who I need to talk to. Really disappointed in this company. Customers are already stressed and just want decent customer service, which isn’t happening.

WORST COMPANY AND EXPERIENCE EVER IN MY LIFE! Our house was hit by lightning, so we had fire damage & water damage from all the water used to put out the fire & the fire hoses running through the house. Our insurance agent recommended Service Master by Crossroads. They came out quickly and the sales rep was amazing. My husband and some of his co-workers came over right after it happened & put a tarp over the huge hole in our house to protect it from more rain that was heading in. Service Master didn’t do that. They came in told us it would take about 3 months to complete all the repairs, they came in & packed up all of our personal items & took pictures of damaged items. A fabric company came in & gathered all the clothing, bedding curtains and much more. Then our house set open for three months with nothing being done. They did not close the hole in the side of our house, they did not dry the house properly or even at all. We had two upstairs bedrooms that had to completely come down. Since there was no mitigation done, the insulation was surely taking on moisture during this time. Also while they were not doing anything for 3 months we were being charged for storage of our items. This started towards the end of October, and lasted until the end of May. It took them 7 months to get things done. They were not done properly there was paint all over the new hardwoods, they painted over dust on the doors and the door frames. Used a latex paint on the window seals. Which is peeling off. The house when finished was supposed to be professionally cleaned. They sent out three guys with windex and a broom. They cleaned three windows and swept the floor (which was done horribly. They sat an old toilet in the bathtub with nothing under it so there was a huge rust stain in the garden tub. Nothing that wasn’t being replaced was covered to protect it. Including our cabinets and countertops, new tile floors, or the new wood floors or carpet. New floors went in and they painted and got all kinds of pain in the floor, and it wasn’t cleaned up. To top it off when we received our things back, we were missing so much stuff it was insane, they scratched my brand new dining room table and chairs. So much damage to the furniture. Seals were missing from end tables between the glass and the table tops. Things that were brand new in boxes just disappeared, our blackstone grill was determined not salvageable but it was. The disappeared pretty fast, I could go on and on about all things missing when we got items back. They brought a load of boxes, and then came back with more they they “found”. We had a brand new still in the box Bluetooth with lighting system vent fan that you can see in pictures it totally disappeared they have no clue what happened to it. They don’t bring back my husbands extension ladder. How do you miss that.. we had to call and got it back two days later. They offered me $150 for cleaning my 4 bedroom 2 and half bath home that took me a total of 16 hours to clean properly since they didn’t actually send a cleaning crew. The cleaning “crew” should have been to our house at 8:00 am as they knew when all the furniture and appliances were being delivered. Instead they came at the same time of everything being delivered and set up. It was a crazy mess and cleaning did not happen. I was in tears every night with them. We came in one day & noticed water on the floor. We told them it looked like a pipe had busted from the cold weather & they needed to check it. They didn’t. So when the water turned on there was a waterfall in our entry way. When we called we were told that we needed to call a plumber. Umm no that is your job. So drywall, ceilings, & pipes had to be replaced because they didn’t listen to us. With no coverings on the counters, tile flooring or on anything else countertops were scratched, tile floors were chipped. They sent someone out to buff our countertops when they should have replaced them. They paid no mind to the tiles that were chipped. Complete & TOTAL NIGHTMARE. I wish there was a negative star system!

I’d like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to Josh Law and the exceptional team at Service Master! Towards the end of 2023, following a regrettable incident where the plumbers tasked with installing our water heater inadvertently neglected to reconnect our lift pump, resulting in significant water damage to our basement carpet, Josh and his team swiftly stepped in to address the issue. Their prompt response and remediation efforts were exemplary, coupled with a commendable level of communication and respect throughout the entire process. In fact, we were so impressed by their professionalism that we entrusted them with installing our new carpet as well. Yesterday, when our area experienced flooding and our sump pump failed, I immediately sought assistance from a new, reputable plumber to install a replacement. Despite Josh being on vacation at the time, I reached out to him, and true to their commitment to exceptional service, his team was on-site within a mere couple of hours. Thanks to their swift action, we suffered no further damage to our belongings, and remarkably, the brand-new carpet they had installed was salvaged without issue. Words cannot express my gratitude towards Josh and his team for their unwavering dedication to providing prompt, high-quality service consistently. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of expert care for their home, especially during times of crisis.

Worst experience ever! High price and there is mold in 2 rooms just 2 weeks after they did expensive “clean up” They tore up some things and refuse to compensate me unless I go along with their restoration plan. Called their corporate office and they merely took my name and number so someone could call to see what was wrong and I haven’t heard back. Servicemaster used to be a name you could trust. Save yourself some grief!
