Parkside Restoration did a terrible job on making my home new again after a leak in the roof of my condominium. They replaced a 4′ x 5′ section of drywall in my master bedroom. Only they did not wait for the spackle to dry and the drywall paste sagged and cracked. The ceiling was painted one day after the spackle was applied, and ceiling cracked again. A crack in my bathroom appeared again several weeks after initial work was completed. This work will have to be done again. I had 8 eight nail pops in 4 different rooms of my second floor, Master Bedroom, closet, Master bath, and guest bedroom. This was never repaired correctly in the first place, and now must be done ALL over again. All nail pops in ceiling reappeared. Terrible job Company offered to come and make repairs, but all the work they did has to be done again, so why would I want this company back? I don’t want this company anywhere near my house. I had to clean up tons of drywall dust that was all over everything on my second floor. Jack Gallo of Parkside Restoration assured me it would be corrected. So why was the work not completed correctly in the first place. Bad company, don’t do anything correctly. So why would anyone hire Parkside Restoration? I have no idea why.

A truly terrible company. They refused to honor an onsite estimate of “up to $2000” and sent a bill for over $3000 (shocking for how small the job was) and also included some absurd “emergency” charge, even though there was absolutely no emergency to speak of. When I complained (repeatedly), they essentially called me a liar, and refused to make it right. The situation was even escalated to the owner, who likewise refused to do anything else, so it’s clear their issues run all the way to the top. Don’t risk having a similar experience/migraine—AVOID at all costs!!

Really appreciated the service I received. The first POC I interacted with was Jack Gallo. You can tell this guy likes his line of work. I had a few questions about the process and he never made me feel rushed. When you start discussing the issues with him, it’s very clear that he’s been doing this for a while and he really was able to break down the process in a way that was inviting and made you feel comfortable. The team that came to the house to do the actual work was led by the Crew Chief [Steve] and Max. They too were really great to deal with. Very speedy but also really felt that they did a thorough job. For a process that includes a lot of unknowns, I’m really glad that I ended up choosing Parkside Restoration to do the work. This process includes trust in the provider you choose and I have no regrets. Not to be left out, I also really appreciated my interactions with the office staff. They were quick to respond and always a delight to speak with.
