Stephen Sherwood, owner of PuroClean of Romeoville, is amazing. Not only did he come running when we had water or other damage or emergency issues, he has now taken on general contractor of building out our new business. His attention to detail is so far beyond anything I will ever understand. He is a visionary who always leaves me thinking. And his construction and customer service skills speak for themselves. He has limitless patience for my silly questions, and I have learned so many things from him.

We just signed a lease on a decades old space in Naperville. We had heard Stephen did very good work but wasn’t sure how familiar he was with, basically, a full renovation and update of an old bar. Turns out we had nothing to worry about. He’s working directly with the city and DuPage county health department to ensure everything is up to code, using his knowledge to make sure all surfaces are clean and sanitized before installing any new surfaces and keeping us updated every step of the way. He has also been instrumental with the overall aesthetics of the project. He has an eye for colors, layout and small details that make the whole thing come together. We certainly do not want any real water damage (or any damage) issues but if we did we wouldn’t think twice about calling Stephen and his crew to help us out. Frankly, five stars aren’t enough.

A family member from the Romeoville area had passed away. Being from out of town, I reached out to Stephen (PUROCLEAN) from an online add. He went out of his way to help me get lined up with a dumpster and sent me (2) amazing workers that were incredible to work with. We emptied and cleaned out an entire house in 24 hours start to finish. Everyone on the team was very pleasant to work with, punctual and professional. I would absolutely recommend this team for any needs you may have. This is one of those amazing experiences that words alone cannot justify.

My deck was built in 1969 & we purchased our home in 1974. Over the years my deck only was stained & I never had an issue with it until we used Behr’s Deck Over on it in about 2016 using over 10 gallons of it. That was a big mistake and in about 2021 it started to show a lot of rotting in many, many places on the deck, railings, stairs, etc. which caused me to need to replace the deck. In October, 2023 I contracted with PuroClean of Romeoville who did the demolition of the deck along with overseeing the entire project & he contracted with Quality Carpentry and Roofing in Romeoville to rebuild the deck. It was rebuilt using treated wood for the structure and Trex for the deck, stairs, railings, etc. Both companies did an excellent job, had top quality employees who took pride in the work they did. If the need would arise again I would not hesitate to use them. I couldn’t be happier with the quality work done by both companies & would recommend them.

PuroClean did an amazing job!!! Outstanding service from a caring and friendly staff, who completely fixed my situation quickly and safely! They are extremely fair with pricing too! I highly recommend this company!! They are professional, punctual, and truly cared about what they did- they definitely take good care of their customers!!!!!

Our experience with PuroClean was perfect. Scheduling was easy and flexible, the crew showed up on time, their work exceeded our expectations, furniture that needed to be moved was handled with care, and they cleaned up after themselves. In and out and we didn’t have to do a thing!! Will definitely use them again and will recommend to friends and family.
