Water damage in my finished basement is nothing I wish on anyone. Project Manager, Aaron, showed up within a few hours of my request. He exhibited an uncanny knowledge of his craft and was empathetic to our situation. Without concern for his time, he stayed to answer every question and outline the entire mitigation process. It was clear his experience, his attention to detail, his customer service focus and the pride he takes in his work is what separates CWAFR from the others. The crew he dispatched, led by Edgar and his associate Eddie, were professional and expedient. For mitigation, I wholly recommend them but hope you never need them.

My sump pump failed and my basement flooded a few days ago and my plumber recommended CWF for assistance to clean up the water damage. Alex Tracy arrived at my house the same day I called and he was very professional, took the time to listen to my concerns about what happened to my basement and provided professional feedback on next steps. I didn’t feel rushed and he seemed very empathetic, Took his time and explained everything in detail and took pictures to show us the damage. I had a very good experience with this company and they were so fast in responding. I highly suggest you reach out if you need any restoration assistance. Alex was great to work with!

Nathan and Kevin came by to check out some flooding damage. Although we didn’t need to move forward with significant remediation, they gave me some super insightful tips that I plan to do in the future. I didn’t feel like I was being sold to. They went above and beyond – giving me tips on who to contact for other issues I was having too! Good experience.

Frank from CWF was on time and professional. I am watching a friend’s house for the week and his basement got substantial water damage from a large storm. He was clear and precise with his assessment and answered all questions I threw at him to relay to my friend. Made the whole process a lot easier. It would be a mistake to not go with CWF first.

We had a fire in our home in January with extensive smoke damage (partial loss fire). We called CWFR and we worked with them over the course of four months to mitigate the fire and smoke damage, remove, inventory, and clean our belongings, and reconstruct our property. This was a massive undertaking involving a lot of disruption to our lives, dealings with two insurance companies, and finally — a return to our home. We worked with Charlie during mitigation, Terrence and his team for our belongings, and Sal for reconstruction. They are incredibly thorough and I thought did a great job considering the scale and complexity of the project. All the project/division managers were highly responsive to my questions (there were MANY) and concerns, and ultimately did everything they could to get us back in our home. I am very grateful we chose CWFR to work with — they are adept at managing complex projects and doing quality work. Update! I’m a very satisfied repeat customer. After CWF’s work on our fire mitigation and restoration I called them out again to address a long standing mold issue in our sunroom. We didn’t go through insurance and I thought it might break the bank but CWF did a beautiful, professional job for a very reasonable price. I found that they were comparably priced with less professional contractors but most of all they were wonderful to communicate with and helped me figure out how to address my leaking windows. I really appreciate how responsive and professional they are, and the quality of their work for a fair price.

I had a great experience with Chicago Water & Fire Restoration. I had some water damage from a leaking drain pipe. Nate came out same day to give me an estimate and the crew was out the next morning to perform the cleanup and dry out work. They were timely, respectful and efficient with their work. They even accommodated my schedule and picked up the dating equipment 2 days later. I would absolutely recommend CWF Restoration.
