I had an extremely disappointing experience. After my basement flooded, I hired them to handle the water restoration, expecting professional and efficient service. Unfortunately, I got neither. The quality of their work was subpar. Despite claiming that the issue was mitigated, the basement continues to smell like mold. I am considering hiring another company to complete the job properly. Additionally, their billing was opaque and inflated. I was charged for services that were not rendered and had to argue with their customer service team to get a partial refund. Their attitude throughout the entire process was dismissive and rude. When I asked for an explanation of why the bill exceeded the quote, they refused to give me an explanation and even threatened to send the bill to collections. Overall, my experience was a nightmare. I would strongly advise against using their services. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and overpriced. Save yourself the headache and find a reputable company to handle your water restoration needs.

The entire team did an excellent job with the restoration. Jacob was very thorough and he was able to help with everything beginning with the extraction & water clean up. Then removing all of the damaged walls, flooring, insulation, etc. When it came time to the repairs, 6 stars!!!!! Louis was our construction manager and he was outstanding. His team did all of the restoration including insulation, drywall, mud & tape (I must say this was some of the BEST work I have seen), flooring, and then cleaning up after the mess. I couldn’t have asked for more. If I ever have another disaster recovery project. The first company I will absolutely call ServPro of Bloomingdale first!

We recently installed new appliances and noticed some of our original backsplash was missing (the original builder of our unit had cut corners), so we brought on Servpro to help restore and extend our backsplash further on our kitchen wall. We also updated some cabinetry, installed new lighting, and had mold treated on our windows. Louis did a fantastic job managing the entire project and we’re so happy with his level of service and expertise. During the initial walk through, we chatted through issues we were having in our kitchen, and he presented us with multiple options for tile, grout, and trim for the backsplash to help us come to a consensus. His recommendations were spot on and he has a great eye for design because the final results look beautiful and contemporary, which is what we were aiming for. Jack and Sebastian (Louis’s crew) did most of the leg work and it was high quality – all the tile and cabinetry turned out very uniform and clean. They were respectful of our home and family by wearing shoe covers, laying down tarp in their work area, removing trash every day, and completing the work in a timely manner. We also really appreciated that they checked in with us regularly to show progress and make sure the work was going in the right direction or if we needed adjustments . Overall, we felt that this team put a lot of care into our home and the results were better than we imagined. We will definitely work with them again on future projects! – Nadia & Jordan

I had a flood in my home and had no idea who to turn to as I am a new home owner. A quick google search led me ServPro and let me tell you they did not disappoint. I was very fortunate to work with Luis, he was very helpful and informative. He facilitated the whole process for me and I HIGHLY recommend working directly with him or anyone else at ServPro. Truly an amazing company!

This is a scam company. The worst company ever in the world. Don’t ever never choose this company. They been fixing my house but they did not do a good job. We have smoke damage house and the insurance company was offer me SERVPRO. They been moving our furniture out for clean and restore. I lost all three of my beds and kids table, broke two of my dresser and lots and lots of my items still went missing. I called them for a month with no response and they just send someone to my house randomly. And not to mention they came working at my house with no gear, no uniform, just very unprofessional and takes a long time to get a hold of every time. They offer me three beds and all the broken parts and missing parts with a thousand dollars. They are not responsible for their work. Don’t ever never try this company if you don’t want to waste your time and money.

At our house in Arlington Heights, the sump pump failed, causing water damage in the basement. Kurt and his crew, did an outstanding job cleaning up the mess, and getting the basement functional, within a couple weeks. Would highly recommend, for any of your casualties.
